  1. Was limping around the pitch at the end with a bag of ice in his hand
  2. Long walk fro Tooting Broadway, Victoria line to Wimbledon park for us I think
  3. Not great, certainly second half although wind and rain looked bad. important not to lose and another clean sheet. they have let in-least in the division and only lost at home to Cardiff, so not a bad point. need 6 from our 2 upcoming home games
  4. It was Sunderland at home and Portsmouth away
  5. Same starting 11 and go and get 3 points against a team bang out of form…
  6. Great win, reasonable results elsewhere, but in isolation it’s only the beginning now kick on please …….
  7. I know it’s only just under 1000 tickets, but 12-30 and how we are playing at the minute and our away record - great effort
  8. Crap from start to finish. no ifs, no buts, no excuses. last few weeks have been a shambles, but that just put the tin hat on it. see you in league 1 next season ……..
  9. Right, get the Guinness poured, let’s get this second half of the season started, see you soon
  10. I was trying to console myself that it would be alright 🤣
  11. Lot of emotion last night, partly due to how good we have been at home. let’s roll over Doncaster and see what happens. looking at January fixtures, a lot of the top teams play each other.
  12. It’s the away form that’s killing us only Exeter and Rotherham have scored less and we are 10 points behind the top point scorers away over 10 games (that is a point a game) last night was disappointing, but you are always going to lose at least once at home in a season. it’s just so predictable against these lesser sides that we are giving them a goal head start and then it is so hard to break down - albeit we aren’t helping ourselves missing all theses sitters. with 5 aways in January, I think we might just need to go and have a right go and take people by surprise as if we are not carful the top 2 could be out of touch come the end of January. We already need to win 4 and Cardiff lose 4 to catch them up.
  13. Clean sheets - that’s how you win this league
  14. Not scoring enough goals, missing easy chances and giving sloppy goals away. why do our wingers keep floating balls into the goalkeeper ? Thought Morley played some great balls in, but the person most likely to win the headers had gone off. dalby just has to score that chance first half. if we have their man mountain of a centre half in our team - we don’t concede half the crap goals we do. for their goal, Johnston could / should have put it out for a throw, who was marking their centre forward and shouldn’t our goalie be commanding his 6 yard box. have to go to Doncaster and win otherwise the top 2 is just slipping away and given what I said right at the start, this team in a 2 legged play off semi against a tough tackling, low block side ain’t winning.
  15. 3 points any which way it comes please
  16. My sentiments exactly - in
  17. I was really annoyed at the end of the game yesterday. We started really well and should have been 2 up and that would have been game over. 2 schoolboy defensive lapses and they are back in the game with something to defend. given all the possession second half I honestly though we were poor. Goalie hardly had anything to do and we have thrown another 3 points away against a team that promotion contenders go and win at. couldn’t believe the amount of people clapping them off at the end - 2 away wins out of 10 just ain’t good enough
  18. All 5 subs made a real impact and gives a great headache as to who to start next week. forss work rate was superb. if we hadn’t made the error for the first goal it would have been a comfortable win, as they offered nothing. In a season when you get promoted you can’t win brilliantly every week, there will be some ugly wins. Just got to keep grounding them out. shame about cardiffs late winner, but few more results went our way and the gap continues to narrow.
  19. Thank god we got 3 points, broke down on the way home, over 2 hours waiting for recovery truck - got into bed at 2 - that really would put the tin hat on it if we hadn’t won or let in a late goal…….
  20. Cheers matey.
  21. Will this be defo 3pm, or could it be moved like the 2 league 1 games last Saturday ?
  22. Winnable as in with all things being equal (no sendings off, key injuries etc) that this next group of 6 games are all winnable. look at Stockport, lose their key man (Norwood) and haven’t won in the league since but they would have thought that those games prior to the injury were winnable.
  23. Yep, start of 6 winnable league games to New Year’s Day. if we want to be top 2, the consistency home and away needs to start here.
  24. Still think that cross country will have “issues” throughout the month so as to disrupt but not be classed as strike action. That’s why I changed my Wycombe trains from cross country via Birmingham, to avanti via London
