Crawley Town (H)
I did think the ref could have stamped his authority on the game earlier and avoided a lot of what went on. How on earth didn’t their goalie get booked ?? some of this feigning injuries needs sorting out at the top, same with shirt pulling. Just spoiling the game. but certainly a great point in terms of the time added on, but it was warranted.

Crawley Town (H)
We needed a win and that’s what we got. positives were scoring 4 without Collins, Sheehan, tutu, morley, in game management and the excitement of that last 30 minutes. (Cooley I also thought did quite well) negatives were mcatee, sloppy defending, referee, this goalie sitting down lark and allowing team talks, crazy time wasting but what I would say is the passion and adrenaline in yesterday and the Huddersfield game have been on a different level. That is why you go to football. More of that please.

Wrecsam (I Ffwrdd)
Trains are a pain for this - might be drive, get in, 3 points and get out

The Real Plan A 2.0
Aim for me very realistic is play offs, ideally finishing 3rd or 4th to be at home in the second leg and then win them. but not the end of the world if we don’t go up and hopefully with a full pre-season ss takes us to the title next season

Speaks well, good record can’t wait for Saturday

Huddersfield Town (A)
Wow, just wow. every single player take a bow. the away following take a bow. julian Darby take a bow. that was everything we have been missing for weeks and months. only after Rotherham did evatt say changing the manger wouldn’t be the answer. I have got home physically and mentally exhausted - that has taken my breath away. a few of my Huddersfield mates said we deserved to beat them by more (despite duff and his smash and grab jibes) that was old school and proper defending today and I loved it. bottle that and use it for the next 19 and we won’t be far of…..

Huddersfield Town (A)
See even duff was surprised we eventually lost the charlton game

Brand Evatt
If you win 30, you can lose 16 which in reality will not happen. think we lost 4 when we got 99 points, so you will get draws. 3 draws is 1 win, which ok does reduce your win percentage slightly. For the rest of this season, we will need a win percentage of at least 60% to more than likely just get in the play offs. 90 points plus SHOULD get you up automatically.

Brand Evatt
To win this league you need over 60% win rate (65% gets you 90 points) but you are correct - analyse the make up of the 50% in the last few years and it is against the poorer teams. to get autos and let’s be honest even win the play offs we have to be regularly competing and beating top 6 teams and also changing our ineptness in other key games eg Wigan, Blackpool away, Stockport, Rotherham etc

Reading (A)
This will sell out now - as I expect quite a few of the aways will ( as a lot more local than first half of season)
-
Cambridge United (H)
Oh and I didn’t celebrate either goal. it was like Chinese water torture players were flat, team were flat - just a flat day out
-
Cambridge United (H)
2 crap goals given away. thought Schon, new Randell and Morley did ok. sheehan and tutu did ok when they came on. Cambridge haven’t won away all season and lost last 5 felt sorry for them at the end. we deserved nothing. thought crowd were well behaved for the most part given what was served up. evatt going no where until the end of the season. 21 more games to endure……

Reading (A)
Train booked - but no tickets yet. only going as it’s a new ground for junior.

Todays Games
Shrewsbury worked hard for that win

Wrexham (A) - EFL Trophy
Regionalised for quarters

Wrexham (A) - EFL Trophy
Evatt said that was more like our dna ! Jesus, I thought we were really poor and only for them wasting chances have we scraped a win. now Charles is going, 20 goals plus for the last 2 seasons. see the quarters is regionalised, so us, Bradford, Rotherham and Wrexham/ vale

Where do I start ? 2 hours to get from Marple to Sheffield on normally a 50 min train. got off at dore to get an uber to Sheffield, then ok to the ground. frist 10 ok, should have gone 1 up (Johnston) then the next 60 was embarrassing from all 11 plus subs. Left at 3, back to Sheffield- took half an hour. then best hour of the day - killer in the Howard at Sheffield. train then again delayed, kicked off the train at new mills, another drink, then only half of us got back on as mix up with platforms, so 2 under 16s on, dad not, got home 10 hours after leaving for a local game. do the players or manager have any idea of the cost and time we put into these nob heads ? They haven’t got the first idea - and the cold shoulder from my missus is worse than the 2 hours watching that game. something has to give, fans falling out, players not arsed, manager blaming the players - and as for his post match interview…… anyway, back to the g and t

Driving for this - normally a great trip this, but bus replacement and early kick off has put paid to that

Rotherham United (A)
Spoke to someone at work who is a Rotherham season ticket holder. The pitch is Australian grass that is grown in Florida. The pitch is never in a bad state so won’t be the pitch that gets the game called off. will be surrounding areas that aren’t really thawing. also, point to note, the train station was shut on Monday due to flooding - at worst get off at meadow hall and taxi it.
-
Rotherham United (A)
I am sure they will have it covered with the game being on sky it’s a decent earner for them to try at all costs to get it on.
-
Exeter City (A)
We had a good chat with some derby fans on the way home - quite balanced in terms of being carful what you wish for. no money and what do their fans expect - they would seem to be happy if they stay up All about opinions isn’t it

Exeter City (A)
Bloody long day but eventually worth it. first half again played reasonably well, just cant take our chances. miss a sitter second half, then gift them a goal with a bow on it. period of scrappy play and Charles for me then changes the game with his closing down and non stop running. appeared a decent finish from Collins. then everyone listening to the tannoy saying the game might be stopped and we score - then bedlum not felt like that or celebrated like that for ages. certainly made for a happy trip home. next stop Rotherham - we never win there……….
-
Mansfield Town (A)
Can’t defend and can’t score - the 2 fundamentals to win football matches. the second half was boring. set pieces were garbage. got what we deserved …… again

Dempsey
Only played 10 this season, shame I like him, but need to assume that’s him done for the season

Rotherham United (A)
Certainly not my favourite
