  1. Scotts Bar, 15 seconds walk from premier inn
  2. RIP Nat. This is a truely sad day. If you support Bolton Wanderers, if you have ever supported Bolton Wanderers, get to the Chelsea game & sing your heart out for the club, for Nat, for out future without our spiritual leader.
  3. Moyes said everscum were a big club, what a super duper loon!
  4. Hang on a minute, everscum had the whole embankment.
  5. Is that your preference NB?
  6. Well done SKD for sliding your boot down jagielkas shin in training! Gary, when you get on the training pitch return the favour & get your boot into Shrek's nuts.
  7. You have obviously never seen Muamba play!
  8. I couldn't agree more, however when I suggested something similar a few year ago, on this board, I got shot down by 90% of the replicants. Unfortunately there are far too many people who claim to be Wanderers fans & rarely, or never, go to the Reebok.
  9. is there a megson skin & coyle skin?
  10. Fuck OC, I say Rog for manager! Actually, I would be more than happy for OC to be our next manager...... maybe Rog can be his assitant?
  11. Another reporter with some sense, it appears there's more out there than we thought! Report
  12. Hang on a mo. we're currenty 1 point off the bottom 3, if that's ok with you fine, but for me it's not good enough! Yes we appear to have played (!) well in the last 2 or 3 games, but our points tally is woeful. If we beat everscum (which, in spite of the last few seasons results. I expect us to) & then go on to pick more points up on a more regular basis than we currently experince, it might be time to start giving the man some credit, until then he is just blowing his own, very premature, trumpet.
  13. Pissed is good, especially if you are a Wanderer.
  14. Mr. Gartside, chairman of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, has approached FIFA with evidence of his club having enticed young footballers to play for them & has questioned "if Chelsea can receive a ban on transfers for the next 2 windows, why can't we?"
  15. Pete, I don't want the scum to win the title, but I'd rather they won it than the scousers, does that make 2 of us?
  16. Unfortunately, occasionally he does give less than 100% & these 'ocassions' are becoming increasingly frequent... Sunday's performance was a perfect example (It wasn't just him of course, there wasn't a single player in White who could match the effort put in by the Piemen, although Davies only played half a game at Anfield so he should have had more energy than anyone else). We all know he has never been, or ever will be, a profilific goalscorer, but if you take away his brawn we are left with another passenger that we can ill afford to carry.... No, or little, effort = No brawn. Sure, he will have some decent games in the future & the Davies lovers will be out shouting the odds, but personally I measure a player over a season or more & taking into account his last 18 months performances Mr.Davies' days are numbered at this level.
  17. Have we sold all our tickets yet?
  18. Can't see any thread on this.... maybe I missed it! But who explained the job description to the singing stand? I thought they were quite simply awesome on Saturday, especially in the 2nd half. An absolutely vast improvement on anything they have served up before, I mean, not only could you hear them but they were bl**dy loud & they actually encouraged the West stand upper to make an effort!!!!!! OK their repertoire needs some work, but all the training they have had is now clearly paying off ..... keep it up north stand, much strength to your vocal cords. I would be interested to hear (from the north stands 'strained' mouths) why there was such a sudden and amazing improvement? Apparently, even the gooners have commented on our new found vocal support. Brings back memories of Burnden & the Lever end / Burnden Paddock.
  19. It looks like the Jussi / Al Habsi opinions are split down the middle. I can see both views; Jussi has proven himself over many years, he is experienced & doesn't make many mistakes. On the other hand Ali is still very inexpericenced at this level & whilst he looked good for a few games at the end of last season, he is far from the finished & proven article. However..... looking at the bigger picture, cast your minds forward 3 years...... Jussi is past it, worthless on the transfer market & unlikely to be up to Premiership standards. Ali, improving all the time (given the chance to shine by playing regularly), worth an increasingly significant amount on the the transfer market & possibly heading towards being one of the best keepers in the Prem. for many years to come. You could pick holes in the above points but most (reasonable) Bolton fans would agree. Now here's the important bit; If we don't get Ali in the team (very) soon (& I don't mean for 1 or 2 games) then come January there will be clubs queueing up for his signature & that will mean... bye bye Ali, bye bye quality keeper (for many years to come), and bye bye big transfer income. We will then, in all probability, need to spend big to replace Jussi! Why wait till then? sacrifice Jussi now, bring Ali on, let him progress (& thereby get him to sign a new contract). Jussi will be good back-up AND, if Jussi get's pissed off (which is quite likely) then we could sell him in January, or May, for a million or two & re-invest it in a new No. 2 (Notwithstanding that Bogdan may well be pushing for a No. 2 place by then anyway). If we carry on as we are Ali will go, for nothing, before the end of the season & we will be left with an ageing keeper that we cannot sell.... IT'S A NO BRAINER!
  20. The couple of offers are for incoming... NOT outgoing. Please pay attention.
  21. fcuk off everscum tossers
  22. Go on, we all might as well vote for Gary, after all he's the best centre half in waiting. http://www.footballpools.com/pundits-corne...e-sunderland-t/
