Was thinking just the same about TOMO last night. Hopefully we'll get it going today!

Violence In Italy
The strange thing is that the scenes shown on the news last night are no different than are seen at many many Italian games each year. They were no different than what I saw at the Rome derby last season. Fireworks and explosives are thrown at policeman and opposition fans nearly enough every week. It's just amazing that so few people have been injured / killed over recent years.

Violence In Italy
Very very sad but to be honest it doesn't really surprise me. I've been to a a dozen or so games in Italy and the increasing level of violence has been quite noticeable. They've never really tackled hooliganism and it was going to take a couple of bad weekends like they've now had for anything to possibly be done. If the things I've seen in Italy were repeated here we would been thrown out of European football indefinitely.

Merseyside Derby!
Liverpool have only conceeded 3 goals at home all season in the league. Unbelievable record.

Wet Spam
Do we have a separate jokes board? I reckon we could possibly justify a separate one for West Ham related threads alone.

Thank's For Nothing....mugs!
West Ham doing a Leeds.... I just hope that we get to be the team that puts you down (again). One for the diary.... Saturday, 05 May 2007 Barclays Premiership West Ham v Bolton, 15:00

Ahh Feck!
Is there are harder player in the Premiership? Plays against Charlton with a fractured cheekbone and then against Arsenal with a broken foot.

Thank's For Nothing....mugs!
....and thanks to West Ham for rolling over and handing Liverpool 3 points. Could make the difference between us getting a Champions League spot or not. Are you looking forward to another long and illustrious European campaign next season?

A Big Thank You To Our Ticket Office
I won't be doing it again in a hurry, but equally I'm not planning on missing any other matches so we'll see. Turns out that the seemingly harmless guy sat next to us thought it would be funny to grass on us. Personally I think it's pathetic that it happened but even more pathetic that it's seen as acceptable behaviour.

A Big Thank You To Our Ticket Office
Thanks to their balls up I spent ??200 on a pair of tickets for my Dad & I in the home section. We did nothing all game. We didn't celebrate our goal and we were even applauding their goal (very lightly) when I got punched in the face by 2 idiots who promptly disappeared back amongst their Stone Island clad mates. Very hard they were too, punching me from the side without any warning at all. Down come the stewards who had seen it happen .... and out we went. gary nevilles.

Spare Tickets For Arsenal
The bottom line is that despite being only a lifeline member, this season I have been away to Charlton, Fulham, Reading, Portsmouth, Sheff U, Everton, Newcastle and Walsall. The club could have had plenty of tickets to go round, but instead I have had to fork out over ??200 for tickets in the home end. It aint good enough and if I hear Sam complain about our following on Sunday........

Arsenal Vs Bolton
I'm sitting in the home end. Hope it goes better for me than the last time I tried that. Couldn't control myself when Ellery penalised Jussi for holding onto the ball for 6.000001 seconds at St James Park. Totally forgot where I was and got up ranting and raving anyway. Thought I was going to get the cr@p beaten out of me - fortunately everyone around me thought it was hysterical and they couldn't have given a shit who I was 30 seconds later anyway.

Spare Tickets For Arsenal
I'd suggest that the ticket office's claim that a handful of people have missed out would be a fair way off the mark.

Spare Tickets For Arsenal
Do you work for the ticket office?

Spare Tickets For Arsenal
Just spoke to someone in the ticket office. His justification for not getting more tickets was "We have only sold 500 tickets for Watford blah blah...." If they're using that as a guage then it would explain a lot. Going by the number of people on the boards without tickets it looks like they underestimated demand by quite a bit.

Arsenal Tickets
We got 2,000 - we could have had 9,000

Spare Tickets For Arsenal
I know we wouldn't have sold 2,000 tickets but you would have thought they could have gauged it a bit better.

Spare Tickets For Arsenal
ragging gary nevilles. Spoke to them a couple of days ago and was told there was no problem waiting for general sale. We only got 2,000 tickets which were apparently all taken by season ticket holders a while back and yet the guy I spoke to said that they were offered more tickets yesterday but didn't take them. If anyone has any others going spare please let me know. Cheers

De La Pena
Watched their win against Barcelona a few weeks ago. I couldn't believe that De La Pena was still playing but he was sensational. If he performs at anything like that level week in week out then we'd have one hell of a player.

31st January
Just so long as we don't end up with rubbish like Djorkaeff, Laville, Candela, Tofting, Bobic and N'Gotty. What did those panic buys ever do for our club?
-
Arsenal
I'm still speechless about the ability of our club to finally do something so simple and yet so sensible. Whatever next? Enough catering staff to take our readies at half time? Then again....

Arsenal Tickets
Cheers to both of you. I really should introduce myself and buy you a beer one of these days Ian.

Arsenal Tickets
Would be grateful if anyone could tell me a) how many tickets we have been allocated for the cup match and b)how sales are progressing. I only ask because I was thinking of bringing a bunch of mates who are keen to visit the new stadium but this would mean waiting until they go on general sale and I'm not doing that if it would mean missing out. I suspect it won't be a problem but with the free travel and all that......
