I know we want to grow our own, but loans have been important to most promoted teams the last few seasons. Wouldn't surprise me if we get at least 2 more in on loan and in the wider positions where young players are less exposed e.g. winger or full back.

He obviously watched the same club interview as me in which SS said hopefully a couple more this week.

We lost one of our small group a few years back. His last game/goal Wilbraham vs Forest. Makes me smile and remember him and the look on his face, every time it pops up. Hold on to the happy memories.

He's come a long way as player since Keith Hill spotted him in non league. No idea how good he is at motivating and inspiring his team mates - a lot to learn on last season's evidence but that says as much about them than him. I suspect he was chosen because he did put a shift in.

Sorry to hear of your loss. You can do it yourself, I did my dad’s which was a little complicated and Mrs T did her mums which was a”small” estate, but as others say you have to put in a fair bit of work. For the size of your mums estate the price quoted is pretty good tbf, as long as they’re not useless. Others charge a % of the estate. Should have no problem selling a house in OH, as you say one of the better areas in town.

You need talent, drive and passion to be a top level athlete. AC had the talent but not the passion or drive. Not the only one.

Presumably we’ve got one of the biggest commercial incomes in the league and are running a hotel and a football club. So not unreasonable to have a CEO, CFO & COO. Doubt the CFO & COO are on 6 figure salaries. The rest of the new recruits are broadly like for like on the football side.
