I like Forrester but he was poorer playing RCB in a 3 let alone RB. He’s bang in the centre of a 3/5. Not seen much of him playing RCB in a 4, but he lacks pace.

Luton have just had a double relegation and are in freefall. No evidence that they will suddenly be competing at the top end of L1. They will bottom out somewhere but who knows when. Half the squad are still probably on Prem wages with a big wage bill to follow on crowds of 10k and parachute running out. They need to get shot of their whole squad and start again.

I accept Etete has been a shocking signing for us, but I suspect that he's a better footballer than we've seen to date. Brief glimpse with his turn and shot last week albeit it went wide. Hopefully he doesn't haunt us next season. The issue is he's just not fit and it looks as if he hasn't been for at least 12 months. Which makes his signing a real puzzle. You aren't playing yourself back to fitness when you're playing 5 minutes here and there. And in his case it's just aggravated various injuries.

Interesting that neither Big Dave nor Big Lewis have come through the normal academy route. So maybe that’s our niche. Would love the club to have a thriving academy playing at a higher level for youngsters, but it would cost millions of pounds and take 10 years, and the best would still be off to prem or champ clubs at the first opportunity.

Norwich lad been on loan at Buxton, same level as most of ours go to. Would rather follow the Conway route. He may not play at a higher level but at least he’s shown he can hack a season at L2 level.

Get this lad partnered up top with Big Dave next season for a bit of physicality.
