If Charles is 100% fit, I’d start him. Collins to play alongside him, against his old club. If he’s not 100%, I would keep Charles on the bench. Similar with Baxter, but I actually think a 90% fit Baxter starts.

I’ve got some Plantronics ones for work, which make me look like I have a job in a call centre. However, a few people have mentioned they are good at cancelling background noise. Indeed, people can’t expect to roll out “free speech” as a defence to everything ever said or written. For example, if someone wants to call someone else a sex offender / rapist / animal shagger / fistmaster 3000 lover, then be prepared that it could have legal consequences if it’s not true. Generally civil (slander and libel) but it could also be criminal in nature depending on what you say. You can’t just say “yeah, but free speech means I can say what I like”.

Santos should have dealt with it long before it got near Maghoma, but he should have done better too.

I don’t agree with dropping Santos - I think his defending is, on the whole, some of the best in the league. He’s susceptible to the odd mistake (defensively), but anyone on this league is. His distribution though can be woeful. I’m not sure he made a decent pass out against Stevenage and it’s always someone else’s fault. He was slow, lazy and should have cost us a goal. If we insist on using him to play us out, he needs to improve that side of his game.

Not quite right, it’s 90 days, then you have to leave for 90 days, then can go back for up to 90 days etc. Different countries have different rules, but if you want to take residency in the Costa Blanca (to stay permanently), won’t you have to become tax resident is Spain and no longer be a tax resident in England? Then you’d be subject to Spanish inheritance tax rules etc… There are other consequences like you’d have to exchange your English driving licence for a Spanish one.

I don’t want to gatecrash a top 8 chat with a top 12 stat, but I will… 😁 The results away from home this season against the (current) top half teams: Bolton - P10, W1, D4, L5 = 7 points Derby - P10, W5, D1, L4 = 16 points Pompey - P9, W5, D4, L0 = 19 points. People talk about Carlisle or Bristol at home as the reason we are not top 2. That’s not the case. Every team has freak one-off results - look at Barnsley and Posh today. The reason we’re not top 2 is because we’re consistently just not good enough away from home against the better teams. Our home form is good, but not good enough to make up this sort of deficit.

It’s fortunate that we have a group of people who will stick by our country and show patriotism and a bit of British backbone rather than act like snowflake woke bedwetters and run off to Australia / SE Asia / Costa Blanca at the drop of a hat. We need to stick by king and country. GSTK.

I watched the Boris documentary the other day. They mentioned on it that David Cameron openly admitted he chose 2016 for the Brexit vote because he thought it was the optimum time to minimise the impact on his legacy as PM. Apart from the fact the result had the exact opposite effect, it shows that MPs will use something that massive simply as a chess piece for personal gain. Same with tax cuts in an election year, or Sadiq Khan finding money to freeze tube fares in the year of a mayoral vote. They don’t care as much about people’s finances two years before an election, but suddenly when it’s round the corner they will make large policy shifts for personal gain.
