  1. Next week he’ll back off the bombing and then claim it’s war number 9 he’s ended.
  2. It’s hard to know these days what’s true and what isn’t. I see the US are joining in.
  3. I see Isreal have just launched an attack on Iran.
  4. Jesus, the Big Sam documentary has just started at 11.00pm. 2 hours is about £12 of pounds in a pint glass. Tomorrow is now in doubt 😆
  5. @L/H White will be pleased to hear that my pre-match prep is at the Griffin. Still going strong. Early morning train tomorrow, but that’s a problem for the morning
  6. Didn’t we draw at Tranmere last day of the season to miss out on the 100 points?
  7. I saw him at Swindon.
  8. On the train. About 4.5 hours each way.
  9. I felt for the lad when I was chatting to him at the game. Although I drove from Crawley to the game and back in the day, so a 410 mile round trip (and couldn’t drink). I then drove from Crawley to Huddersfield the next day with the wife. At least we won. Oh, wait…
  10. Day trip for my group 🤢
  11. Alright, Martin Keown 😁
  12. With our run in, I’d want to have more than a 4-point cushion to 7th going into the last 5 games. We really need to pick up some decent points in the next few games.
  13. Just been to the gents in a restaurant in that there London. This was in trap #1… Khan’s London… 😂
  14. Maybe the way the club are looking at it is that if we can tap into the Asian/British Asian population of Bolton, 20,000 fans could become 25,000 fans. A sell out each week, extra merchandise, more money to fund the club. It’s clear that our hierarchy see the club as part of the community, so it absolutely makes sense to reach out to all parts of the local population.
  15. He was trying to kick the ball, but he was off balance and it wasn’t easy with the defender’s body wrapped around it. As you say, no malice; just one of those things.
  16. Apter has missed a few now - Wimbledon, Lincoln and tonight. All on his left foot too. Needs to work on it in training.
  17. A few more Globemasters with RCH call sign have left USA in the last hour or two, looks like heading our way over the Atlantic.
  18. If we need to get a goal in the last 20 mins we have some serious firepower coming on.
  19. When we lost to them last time we should have been out of site. Collins missed a couple of clear cut opportunities and then Etete did the rest. We’ll have chances (I dare say they will too). More so than against Lincoln. Hopefully we’ll score first and then kick on.
  20. Yep, tell me about it. I live in Enfield and we have a case at my kids’ school. Both of mine are vaccinated.
  21. You’re probably right. I just like the thought of starting brightly and taking him off at HT when a goal or two up.
  22. I can see him starting Rodrigues and Kenny for this. Leaving out Apter and McAtee. Give JOT a break too and get Christie in.
  23. He’s right footed isn’t he? The issue he has is that he often beats his man on the outside, but then ends up on his left foot. So rather then a first time cross with his weaker foot, he cuts back inside so he can put in the cross with his right. Part of the problem with the inverted wingers.
  24. That ref probably would have booked Kenny for diving. Then sent him off for arguing.
  25. A decent result in the end, as we didn’t really shape enough for 3 points. If you can’t win, don’t lose.
