Give it a rest....we've had the same sort of posts for the last 4 weeks and what's happened? The same spineless players have given up as soon as they go a goal down. The only way to get rid of Megson and to ensure a player clearout is to lose every game until the end of the season. Hate to say it, but true.

Fine, but it's not like we're in a financial position to change the whole squad. The majority of the squad were good enough to finish in the top 8 the previous season so to go from moderate success to relegation inside 12 months suggests the players have underperformed.

All I've read recently is a list of non-playing staff getting the blame for our shambolic season, namely Lee, Megson and Gartside. Fair enough, they all played a small part in our downfall but can we not forget the fooking players when handing out the blame. Every single one of our players has underperformed this season. One or two decent individual performances don't hide the fact that for 99% of the season the players have been spineless, lazy and talentless. For all our big name players and their ridiculously high wages I can't believe we have a squad of players who can't pass the ball 5 yards to a white shirt. It's like a plumber not knowing how to bleed a radiator. I'm quite happy to go down if it finally rids us of these wannabe playboys, I'd rather be in the Championship with a squad of players who want to play for BWFC - regardless of their talent. I've read several comments on here from people begging us to get behind the players during the run-in and it makes me laugh. Do you honestly think it will make any difference? A noisy support won't suddenly make Campo pass to a white shirt or Davies score a hat-trick or Diouf give a s**t. So stop wasting your time blaming Megson and friends, blame the people who could actually have done something to avoid relegation - the fecking players.

No need for name calling, it was just a thought. Unfortunately our fantastic Chairman will almost certainly think like you and will lead the way to the Championship. Sometimes in life you need to be brave, keeping Megson is the easy option here. One that will cost us.

I agree our squad is average at best but surely we have the players to finish above the bottom 3? I never expected to beat Blackburn or Liverpool but it was the way we gave in too easily that bothered me. I just don't see Megson as a motivator.

I don't see what's so stupid about it. I'm not saying Jose would be our long-term manager....just until the end of the season. Can anyone really turn down ?2million for a few weeks work? It'd give the place a real buzz - fans and players.

It's pro-active. If we sit around waiting for Megson to sort it out we'll be visiting Plymouth and Leicester before you know it.

Gartside should be brave and sack Megson today. His next phonecall should be to offer Jose Mourinho a 10 week contract with a bonus clause of ?2million should he keep us up. Everyone's a winner. We get a top class manager who can motivate the players and Mourinho gets ?2million for 10 weeks work. I know it's drastic but right now I feel like we have one foot already in the Championship. We'll lose a lot more than ?2million if we go down.

You know me? But seriously, McGinlay, Okocha, Youri & Gudni were all past their best when they left and Eidur was shocking in front of goal. Jussi is one of the best keepers around....the majority of you won't realise this until it's too late.

Can't believe people are still having a pop at Jussi, the guy has been a rock for many years now. When he's gone we'll miss him more than we ever have McGinlay, Okocha, Youri, Gudni, Eidur etc. In my opinion the fault lies with the appointment of Megson. Did the board really expect a manager who'd done bugger all at a lower lever would suddenly turn us into world-beaters? Megson has had more money than Fat Sam ever had and what have we got to show for it? Cahill looks ok, but the rest are utter shite and a total waste of money. Megson will lead us into the Championship just as I predicted and the board will be forced to make another change during the Summer. And the worst part? Without Jussi, Diouf & Davies (who will all be sold) I don't think the current squad is even good enough to get out of the Championship.

I swear, if one more person suggests Vaz Te should get a game I think I will totally lose faith in the Bolton public. Time and time again Allardyce gave the lad a chance and he proved time and time again that he simply wasn't good enough to last more than 20 minutes at the top level.

Granted Campo is past his best, but until we get a replacement he's going to be here a while longer.

Baiter? Simply stating it from my point of view. Not every grown man or woman goes to a football match to stand up and dance around while hurling abuse at people they don't know. If you did this almost anywhere else in society you'd be taken away in a straight jacket.

Am I the only one who was glad to see those lads chucked out? I am happy to admit I had a word with one of our orange-suited friends and I wasn't the only one. I was sat two rows down from them and the language was over the top. I don't want my kids hearing the c-word every 5 seconds for no real reason. I encourage more people to complain, then perhaps we can watch a football match without having to endure the horrific abuse that seems to have become the norm these days. By all means cheer the team on and let off a bit of steam if you want to.....but do you have to use such threatening behavior?

To make my point clearer: the fans around me would rather spend 90 minutes hurling abuse at the black players on the opposing side than get behind BWFC. If they put as much effort into getting behind the team I'm sure the atmosphere would be much improved.

Truest report I ever read. I can only speak of the "fans" around me in the North Stand Lower but the majority of them are uneducated racist inbreds. I'm sorry if the truth hurts, but tough.

I wish I could see this all new impregnable defence that some of you leep banging on about. Two clean sheets against crap like Fulham and Newcastle does not mean the corner has been turned. I really hope Villa's 4th choice central defender is as good as you think. Personally, I expect to conceed at least 3 at Reading and 2 at home to Portsmouth.

While Alladyce did great things for BWFC, you seem to be forgetting it's largely his fault we're in such dire trouble. Towards the end of his BWFC career he let things drift and the squad became stale. Lee never had a chance and while Megson has had some cash to spend, losing Anelka would cripple any team.

It seems this site is full of people "in the know". Some people will do anything to be the centre of attention.

I love Kevin Keegan, always have. I won't hear a word against him. When I was about 10 he was my favourite player and playing for Southampton at the time. One day we were driving past the Dell when I made my Dad pull over so I could see the ground. In those days the gates were left open and we were able to walk into the ground and see the pitch. My Dad got talking to some guy in a suit and told him we'd come all the way from Bolton and Kevin Keegan was my favourite player. The guy said the players had left but he thought Keegan might still be around. 5 minutes later I'm sat in front of the man himself and he spent over an hour talking to us, he made me feel like I was the most important person in the world, gave me the shirt he'd worn during the previous game and several other personal items. What I remember most is his passion for the game, it was like having a conversation with one of my playground mates. Whether Keegan is a good manager or not I don't care, as a person he is a top bloke.

I don't agree it was the only side to his game.....he created a fair number of goals. To be honest, he turned out to be a far better player than I had expected. And personally, I don't want my centre-forward tracking back. I want him pushing up on the last defender at all times.

Couldn't agree more. Dean Windass aside, none of the names mentioned are exactly proven Premiership goalscorers. If it was upto me I'd shell out ?1million on Ricardo Fuller from Stoke, and save the rest for Summer. Fuller always looks dangerous to me, he's also big and powerful and pretty quick. He'd suit us down to the ground. I await your abuse.
