i don't know what the kids did but it seemed a bit heavy handed. I fear sooner or later they will attack someone and either seriously injure them/kill them or pick the wrong person and get a right good hiding. Something needs to be done. I have visited many many grounds and we do seem to have the worst stewards about.

These are the sort of blokes that if you saw them in town on a Saturday night would run a Fcuking mile but they think they're big men with their orange coats on. Didnt see the incident so cant comment but have seen the Heavy handed approach of our orange pals before. It's not a Bolton problem though I think all match stewards are complete tools

to be fair most steward are sound enough people, it's just the 'ejection team' who are complete c?nts, they're the ones who put themselves forward as big enough and hard enough to chuck out the yoof.

Surely you're not suggesting that WanderersWays set up a special undercover task force who would visit stewards at pre defined times and carry out punishment beatings involving nail guns and kneecaps being affixed to pavements

 

I'm shocked

Colin - we were sat just near you last night (well for the brief 5 minutes you sat down!

 

Great entertainment and superb that you kept the central area of the NSL singing for the full 90 minutes. Take a bow mate.

 

 

As for the orange warriors - it was the deputy supervisor with the blue shoulders who should be most proud of himself. From the moment he appeared (about 20 minutes into the first half) he was on the look out for some victims to remove. It took him 30 minutes to spot some soft targets but well done to him for taking the easy option.

I've never really understood these "Orange coated nobs". 3 young lads (about 14/15 y.o.) in front of me in the West stand lower started chanting "who are ya!" after we scored at the madrid fans, much like the other 20 odd thousand did. They did nothing more than that and yet some fat b'astard steward moved in and told them "sit the f' uck down and shut the f' uck up or you F'cking out Right!!!" he never said a word to anyone who might tell him to f'uck off and give him some back. Some big bloke with 2 kids next to me asked the steward why he was being a d'ick for nothing, and he said nice as pie to him "just doing my job mate" Right hard men aren't they....

ive been in the north stand for a fair few years and he has always been a dick head, lookin to chuck the easy targets out. i reckon he got bullied in school.

It is time for a deputation of fans to make a complaint to the club, I think stewards need to have a code of conduct, and the first thing they should not be able to do is drag out fans, this only inflames the fans in that area and causes more trouble and greater unrest, any ejection of fans must be supervised by the police.

 

P.S.If any one has the email of the appropriate person I will send them an email and let us see what the club has to say.

They really have no place in football. Is it me getting old or do other miserable old gits like me just not understand who it's aimed at? Even the yoof laugh at them.

They did nothing to add to the atmosphere. They just reacted to the rhythm of the chants. Get rid asap!

Just realised something. do you think maybe the steward's over-reaction was because of the placing of the silly-little-schoolgirls? Could they have been showing off to the girlies? "Look how hard I am, I can take a teenager down with just . . . two of us!"

I sat in the last row next to the south stand last night and noticed quite a few Spics faggin it at half time. I asked a steward why this was and he told me that if that happened they were told to allow it. I then asked if I too could have a smoke to which he replied yes, but I didnt say that!

TBH I very surprised its never "gone off", I know there's CCTV but its never stopped chavs when on the streets.
