Elmander
If you're a good player you'll stand out whether you're playing a lone role for Bolton, Bury or Man Utd. The bleeding hearts club have trotted out their usual excuses....too isolated....no supply from midfield...don't play to his strengths....what utter CRAP. None of the above explain the glut of chances he's missed, the ability to find the opposition with every touch, and his total inability to hold the ball up for more than half a second. Once again we've wasted what little money we have on an untried player who can't hack it in the Premiership. While I believe 100% in Megson, for God's sake man buy a striker who's used to the English game next time.

Well That Was A Bit Shit
Megson is the best manager we could possibly hope to have. It doesn't matter that he's got no personality or hates his own fans or plays crap football or thinks Elmander is a good 'un. He kept us up two seasons running with a piss-poor squad, crap fans and the media having a go at him left right and centre for his lack of a decent CV. The man has done a magnificent job. If we'd played open and attractive football we'd have seen bags of goals, unfortunately all in our net. If you don't like Megson and his football then fook off. Who's the mug? Megson for comfortably keeping us in the Prem or some Bolton fans for stumping up ?400+ for something they don't enjoy. With 2 or 3 good signings and a bit of luck we can achieve top 10 next season. Megson is the future of this club. Get used to it.

Your Greatest Ever
v Southampton at The Dell in the FA Cup back in the early 90's before we were any good....locked at 1-1 with seconds left and Julian Darby comes up with a belting half-volley to send the packed away end into a frenzy. It was such a great moment because it was such a shock. In those days Bolton didn't beat top flight teams. Unfortunately we didn't on that day either thanks to Dave Felgate. But I guess the rest of the match should be on a 'Worst Ever' thread.

6 Worst Refereeing Decisions ( Affecting Bwfc )
Good shout. To anyone who thinks they're angry at yesterdays decision you should have been at Bloomfield Road when the ref gave that penalty for a Mark Winstanley tackle 2 yards outside the box. Sounds ridiculous to compare a Freight Rover game at Blackpool to a Premiership match at Old Trafford but it meant so much more then, it really did. Thankfully it didn't cost us that day.
-
We Was Shit An You Know -----we Are Not !
Blame the ref, for once Ronaldo didn't dive. When you get tackled like that you fall over, it's not a dive.

Ferguson Claims Responsibility...
If Ferguson wants to be our next manager I'm sure he only has to ask.

Megson On Rasiak
Hats off to Megson for keeping us in the Premiership, while it's not all down to him he was given the task of avoiding relegation and he did it by 1 point. Interesting to see what he does over the Summer, but if he doesn't sign at least 2 quality midfielders and a goalscorer we will be in a 4 way relegation battle with the promoted clubs as people have already said on this thread. And just for once, wouldn't it be nice to have some new signings settled in by August rather than signing them the day before the first game!

Gutted - Dioufs Last Home Game!
Bolton fans never cease to amaze me. I remember a few years ago when Arnar Gunnlaugsson asked Colin Todd for a payrise after a brilliant season. Nothing wrong with that, we'd all do the same. Colin Todd leaks it to the press and the BWFC "faithful" hound him out of the club. Fast forward a few years. A total scumbag of a footballer named Diouf decides he's bored of playing for Bolton and announces he's leaving a few days before a very important game. What do the BWFC faithful do? Sing his name and clap him off the pitch. Diouf has been an utter waste of money, but for some reason his past has made it cool to worship him. Not once have I left a game thinking Diouf ran the show, but plenty of times I've wondered what Diouf actually contributed. Good riddance. When he returns I will throw chickens at him.

Typical Fickle C?nts
Pointless thread. Gartside didn't sack Megson when we went on that terrible run from Christmas to April so he definitely isn't going to get rid when we've just taken 10 points from 12. It's not how Chairmen operate. The key to next season is buying a quality midfielder and a goalscorer. Doesn't matter who is running the club or who is manager, if we get those two key players this team is well capable of returning to the top 10 of the Prem.

Spurs 1 BWFC 1
Got to disagree. Fulham winning was the best result of the day as it gives them a realistic chance of avoiding the drop if they beat Birmingham. Last thing we wanted was Roy Hodgson giving a run out to the kids in preparation for the Championship.
-
And I Thought We Were Fickle
The West Ham fans expect their team to be higher up the league, regardless of whether they are good enough. I think they call it ambition.
-
Todays Support
Unfortunately the memory of those same 11 players sneaking off after another gutless performance many times this season is also stuck in my head. It was a good result, but once again we were bobbins first half and could have been 5-0 down after 20 minutes. Let's not let one decent result cloud the fact the players have been rubbish all season. If they'd applied themselves earlier they wouldn't need to act like they'd won the Champions League after scoring a goal at Boro.

Megson Out?
I still think we're going down, but even if we stay up Megson must go if the club is to bounce back/avoid another relegation battle.
-
El Hadji Diouf
I don't give a damn about his so-called ability, I give a damn about end product and Diouf gives nowt. So he can trap a ball or keep the ball for more than 2 seconds. Big fooking deal. The fact people still defend him saying he's a quality player miss the point completely - what's the point of having talent if you don't use it? Fook off Diouf, thanks for nothing.
-
El Hadji Diouf
Don't get me started on Diouf. Oh, you just did. Rarely has there been a bigger waste of space than Diouf at BWFC. He cares nothing for this club and worst of all, is actually a sh*t player. He rarely scores, he rarely creates (despite having a lot of the ball) and still some idiot fans sing his name. If one good thing comes from relegation it will be getting rid of this idiot.
-
fcuk Em
Are you Phil Gartside by any chance?? If not, you should apply for a job at BWFC.....your lack of ambition would fit in perfectly.
-
There May Be Trouble Ahead
The idiots are those who think a bit of clapping and shouting will turn this passionless lot into a team of footballers.

If We Beat W Ham Next Week................
What we need is another Fab DeFreitas!
-
Matt Le Tiss
I'm sure he does care, it's his job after all. But fans want to see some sort of passion from the manager, especially when we get thrashed by an average side. Fair enough, he might have given the team a severe telling off in the dressing room but he needs to say that to the cameras....perhaps a public slagging off might make some of the team shape up?
-
Embarassed
At he end of the day we all know we're not good enough, but it's the way we're going down that upsets me. There is absolutely no fight within the team....I turned to the guy next to me when Barry scored Villa's first and said we'll lose 5-0 here. I wasn't far off. We must sack Megson now, there really is no reason to keep him on. Going down is bad enough, but going down a laughing stock cuts me deep.
-
Protest
Getting behind them makes no difference, perhaps abuse is the way forward?
-
We Can Stay Up
We were relegated weeks ago in the players' tiny minds. If they can't be bothered why should you and I?
-
Are You Reading This Megson.......
BWFC spend all of the 2006-07 season trying to get into the UEFA Cup, and then play a weakened team when they get there. Crazy.

Villa Predictions
2:0 Villa. Thank-you and goodnight.
