  1. Was thinking about this earlier is this the first talking point in the country for years that won’t cause a division? we’ve had remainers levers, covid fake covid real anti vac pro vac etc Boris great Boris a twat etc etc where lines are drawn and people are divided over it ( see on here for example) know there’ll be a few loons who would argue blacks white ( also see on here) but surely most of the public are against what Putin has done no matter what their Brexit/ Covid/ political thoughts are? there’ll be different views on what should happen but surely everyone in the main would be on the same side in this ?
  2. Yeh or invading and then keeping a bit that’s now got majority of settlers in who align to Britain . imagine 😁
  3. Played quite a bit in lockdown with one of my sons who got quite into it from that. normality took over again now and not played at all really now we’re back at work / football training etc which is a shame because it was enjoyable
  4. Reg Holdsworth , not much call for it now ( or then either if we’re being honest) and Steve Martin in the hire car scene from planes trains and automobiles but nothing else by him, again not going to win Britains got talent with it. not impressions but can take off accents from most parts of Britain and Ireland, would honestly say could convince someone from anywhere that I was from there as well, not sure why or how, possibly because I heard so many different accents growing up
  5. Agree with this. Annexing more territory will allow him to portray a climb down as a victory . it may also be accepted by the west as a price worth paying to avoid potential full scale conflict, seeing as there seems to be at last some of the citizens who’d prefer it. then again, it also might embolden him to try elsewhere.
  6. https://www.ladbible.com/news/student-has-limbs-amputated-after-eating-friends-leftovers-the-next-d-20220219?source=facebookstatic&fbclid=IwAR2BgePX-8ccti7QDGSrolWXqLTNErVZ5sMX1ned39KhTOuC3f_ymVaqrqE Saw this earlier, bit grim!
  7. But claimed he was in the Pizza Hut in dear old Woking town
  8. France. It was shit . I still hate France and French to this day from my experience there . asked to go and converse in the shops etc to learn , miserable shop keepers laughing at our attempts . Just give us a fucking bottle of oringina you twat coffee in a bowl and a lump of bread for breakfast. Lulling you into a false sense of security with the promise of sausage and chips only to get some horse meat black pudding type shite Plus the Falklands was just starting , news images of ships getting sunk and seeing full warships in Southampton made it a very nervous journey across the channel in case the Argies might get us, especially when battle ships sailing in the distance where met with the cry of “ its got an argie flag on “ made it very nervous for 11 year olds who didn’t know we were no where near , we were in the middle of the sea , close enough t be torpedoe’d😁
  9. True , but that doesn’t rhyme
  10. The grand old Duke of York He had 10 million quid He gave it to an American girl for something he never did
  11. First single I owned as King of the Road but think my dad just bought it as was buying the funky gibbon for my sister and didn’t want to leave me out , so picked something he’d listen to, similarly, I was the only 7 yr old with a Cheiftains album … first album I bought with my own money was The to unforgettable fire, closely followed by anything U2 did prior to that in any format and following up to rattle and hum, which I thought was shite
  12. To be fair, whether you agree with John Major’s politics or not, he was instrumental in the Good Friday agreement and bland is only in comparison to this showman buffoon and I know which I’d rather ! would love a bit of bland and steady leadership in this country at the moment! and yeh, Edwina Curry so not that bland 😁
  13. Some former foreign diplomat just more or less agreed with you , saying while it’s possible it gets less likely he will invade as each week passes, the key thing will be the diplomatic agreement that Putin can use as a “ see they are paying attention to us now and we scared them into agreement “ sort of a face saver that works for him and us
  14. There was a programme on last night, 60 days with the gypsies. some bloke going around towing a caravan joining camps to see how they live. got welcomed by a couple who helped him and let him go with them while they were mythering folk for work etc others threatened to twat him soon as he showed up and shove his camera up his arse Some took him hunting with catapults and cooked and ate the squirrels and pigeons they killed Some broke into his caravan another jumped on his car roof, and shit onto his widescreen… feral & lawless , or at least law as we know it, live by their own rules
  15. Edwin Poots , a man who believes the earth is 6000 years old. if he doesn’t believe in the laws of nature and evolution hardly fair to expect him to obey the laws of man made treaties . deliberate action to pacify some of the DUP support before the local elections . not acting in the interests of Northern Ireland
  16. See, he’s doing it on purpose just to fool everyone. Phew . https://twitter.com/tim_burgess/status/1487334173748695042?s=21
  17. In fairness, they said they didn’t know he was dead 😳….https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/man-who-took-uncle-s-corpse-into-post-office-to-collect-pension-says-he-didn-t-know-he-was-dead-b1999604.html?amp
  18. Yeh i agree with that I don’t think so, i think for “ build up” read “ prepared in case” but that’s my point , those in Russia will have the same mistrust in us as we do in them due to their news/ upbringing/ what their government say. they won’t believe we are not planning any offensive action just like we don’t believe they aren’t .
  19. Exactly. We think nothing of it .If we were Russians and the news reported major nato countries massing on our borders or within striking range etc and then heard it’s just exercises we wouldn’t believe us either.
  20. Think it’s actually just outside Irelands territorial water someone said but close enough to cause a few ripples which is the aim no doubt
  21. Told you they wouldn’t Putins fucked now these lads have got involved 😁 few nets around his warships will put a stop to his games https://www.irishpost.com/news/russian-navy-exercises-cork-fiserhmen-228582-228582?fbclid=IwAR0Vfk22eO6g2kBaUKCoUOCLDusqKKsRAbXZKnlSq4ISY0Pm9M1Ymiey7Uk
