  1. I’ve just read this and thought “ I don’t remember writing this” such is it’s accuracy and relevance to my house I just presumed I had . Glad it’s not just me then
  2. Remember being in Newquay years ago, walking back through the town centre around tea time and a wagon was dropping off loads of what looked like giant plastic sombreros . walked back through in the evening and these were full of revellers pissing into them in full view of anyone walking past never seen anything like it .
  3. Ah right the City.more or less dead centre ! was wondering if you may have been out in the county, some lovely spots in west & south Cork
  4. Really? Why would you not go on St Patricks day ? whereabouts in Cork ?
  5. 4700 mine for electric and gas , but that does include a bit of a deficit (500) built up during working from home when usually there be no usage and the original DD apparently not covering usage . will be cutting plugs off things soon , disconnect the oven , sandwiches are the new roast dinner and stale bread will be the new toast, showers will be things that happen after swimming and putting the heating on will be hard with every radiator disconnected. Fortunately able to pay it just about, but fuck me its going to be tough . getting the house rendered with insulated render too, too late for this winter but hopefully make a difference for next .
  6. Dun Laoghaire council, where the Russian embassy is in Dublin, has voted to name the road it’s on, from Orwell Rd to , “ Independent Glorious Ukraine Rd” That’ll look good on the official stationary
  7. It’s a podcast apparently, so no need to watch just listen… I don’t mind him, he was certainly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and interesting about it when on the radio regarding it
  8. No idea, he could have been there for his pod cast equally i assume . I’m just not up with “ it” and presume if I hear a tv presenter he must be making a tv program , I forget there’s loads of other stuff now! right about the adventures, all without any of the modern warm clothing or navigation equipment at a time when it was a colder place too , bob hats, oil skin jackets, extra pair of socks , grow a beard and off you go ! different breed
  9. I heard Dan Snow on the radio the other week, he’s part of , or at least was with the expedition saying how they were hoping to find it etc probably means there’ll be a documentary around it soon enough.
  10. Listened to that fucking unbelievable but a sign of what we’re up against and how the chance of him being toppled from within might not be as simple as some think. Saying that, she truly can’t believe what she was saying , that Ukraine is bombing it’s own citizens deluded or evil or both , was horrible listening to her
  11. Seems to be angry that BWFC allow taking the knee, but not this … blames the fact it’s a University sponsored stadium and woke traitors . It’s ending up in the Withins too , great … https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=720294119132349&id=100034553019192
  12. Good military guest on Jeremy Vine , answering questions on NATO involvement, the convoy , and various other questions sent in. worth a listen
  13. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/03/04/business/lukoil-end-war/index.html?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=news_tab not sure if this is my wish for this to end & grasping at straws, but the more of this happens the better I think
  14. That’d certainly be worth the radioactive poisoning they’d all get. it’s only couple hundred miles from Russia itself.
  15. Indeed it’s not . Thanks for the clarification. what I mean is why the fuck would they risk blowing that up when it would cause as much issues for them as everyone else
  16. I’d like to think that’s a fuck up rather than planned can’t see what would be achieved as that going up would fuck Russia up too. unless it’s a very clever plan to “ nearly” hit it to cause escalation. who knows?, it’s fucking madness
  17. Daisy Duke the blond girl out of The Fall Guy, mainly in the opening credits where she’s leaning on the saloon door
  18. The way it’s going NATO will be applying to join Ukraine
  19. What’s the deal with the international space station, bet the Russians on there feeling nervous. Be like a live game of among us
  20. Fucking farce that. bent as fuck
  21. 1797 was the last time a foreign force landed in Britain
  22. Genuine question, why is that an issue? Russia is orthodox Christian why would it be secret ? and cause issues now ? Communism attitude to religion or something? genuinely don’t know , not arguing the point it wouldn’t be just wondering
  23. Yes, there’ll alway be that sort of stuff ,but no one will be #teamrussia and agree with what’s going on surely? everyone will have their views on how it could have been avoided and how it can be stopped and there’ll be differences on that, but surely no one agrees with Putin doing what he’s done , there’ll be no mass anti Russia v pro Russia on here even
