  1. Used Bradshaw for years. Went to pay for my service this morning to be told that graham will be retiring soon, and Jonathan is trustworthy and reliable and would it be OK for them to pass me over to him afterwards. I shall be having him fettle my pipes. Kent- is your water still fooked?
  2. Can see why when it was a text conversation with Zach that caused it. No doubt some nob will associate Clough with the offence and pillory him for it though.
  3. No doubt. Couldn't quite make it out, but it sounded like the silence was for a mining disaster. Not sure why chester were doing that for something that seemingly only interested the away team. Too many silences, reserve them for relevant occasions and keep them meaningful.
  4. They didn't exactly take the moral high ground and keep quiet themselves did they. Wait till the minute finished first. Gonzo- there are a few chants of Wrexham (I think) towards the end if the clip.
  5. Pensions are different though. You'll pay income tax on it later on if your pension is large enough. Everyone should pay income tax once government allowances are accounted for. As stated elsewhere close the 'legal' loopholes that are clearly allowing folk to avoid paying it.
  6. True enough. Clough also used to link well with vela; maybe says something about vela's quality.
  7. Agree Andy- the bad lads army is far too soft. It needs revisiting and strengthening. Maybe bring back stocks too- lock em in full view for a while, while we chuck shit at them.
  8. Me too. Can't see it happening though.
  9. Madine's improved form and work rate is down to eating chips the night before a game. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/15641704.Madine_reveals_the_secret_snack_fuelling_his_form/ Used to eat a Chinese with chips before laying five a side. Anyone else do this?
  10. 100% agree. First time maybe, but continuing at different matches is daft.
  11. You may be right, but society seems to have developed in a way that this sort of anti social behaviour is continually growing and we don't seem able to address it. For me we need to get into these kids earlier. Even at age eleven or twelve or whenever they start. If its nicking a few sweets or whatever, get into them early. Far too much namby pamby involvement from well meaning but often ineffective state workers. Get them as kids, together with the parents doing stuff like cleaning litter, with identifying clothing on. As it is, kids seem to know they are untouchable, and become hardened to authority.
  12. Not easy, but perhaps start with youths and antisocial stuff. Smashing bus stops for instance. Come down hard, perhaps five days a week removing old industrial and current rubbish from rivers and banks. Obviously a decent regard to safety but not cotton wooling, make it hard graft, pissed wet through and knackered, but build up a sense of teamwork and ultimately a feeling of achievement and self worth. Maybe have them collecting waste cooking oil from houses and businesses for conversion to fuel. Avoid the fatbergs. Must be loads of environmental type stuff that could be done that sadly authorities don't have the money to resolve They're in public view too- need to overcome initial embarrassment then gain self respect.
  13. Watching it now. Just realised how truly irritating those drums are. Reminiscent of watching old Tarzan series as a kid, with "natives" dancing round a fire.
  14. Aye. Would much prefer some more intensive community based punishments for low level crime; stuff where they really have to work hard, in public view but undertaking useful activities. Free up space for the cunts like the aforementioned.
  15. Hopefully come the next window we might be a little more attractive to prospective players. I worry what happens should Henry get a knock, and options would be useful.
  16. Any chance of a long winded explanation?
  17. Shocking story that. On this case, the victim is critical and presumably if the worst happens the cunt would get a bit longer. Not that I believe he should, a long, long time irrespective of outcome.
  18. Its a difficult situation this independence business; we played it right, sooner or later the clamour for a vote gets too loud and having one early enough may help keep independence at bay. I don't know the Spanish situation well enough to fully comment, but if Madrid had allowed a 'legal' referendum then from what I understand they may well have got a positive outcome. That being said, as Catalonia went 'on its own' with a referendum then other countries can't be seen to be acknowledging it. Comments on the radio earlier have said Madrid's behaviour will have emboldened the independence support, so who knows it may backfire in them
  19. They've been after it for ages. Not sure what rest of world should be doing. Certainly officially. Maybe back channels will be used to rein Madrid in.
  20. A teenager apparently. No doubt be out before he's thirty, fully tooled up with enhanced criminal behaviour.
  21. We've watched a couple of programmes with guys building these massive things, some used to go on sand. Exhausts like a battleship's funnel. Totally mental.
  22. I thought we did have a finance director but he left? Any road, the point is the EFL have accepted what's been put before them. We don't have to know the full details, its kens prerogative. As for blue marble, he's reached an agreement that eases the club's pain. His previous is well known about, and whilst there may be a touch of concern about this, the fact remains that we still have a club, in a higher league, with significantly reduced overheads than when he came. We should all be grateful, and get behind him. If the trust didn't seem so keen to cross him they may get more info. No ones asking for them to get into bed with him, but at least respect his achievements and see if they can work with him for everyone's benefit
  23. Which nob head has done that to Hyde's pitch. Fuckin menk. Big day on telly and some cunt sets fire to it.
  24. Wow. My lad's a car geek and he'll love this
  25. One of the pups cut a pad earlier. Rang the vets in case it needed some treatment. They got us down and whilst the cut is quite minor, there's some strict measures we need to observe to prevent Alabama rot. I'd never heard of it, but this one surgery alone has had four cases this week; two have already been put down and others not looking good. Just found this: http://www.vets4pets.com/stop-alabama-rot/ Any dog owners might benefit from having a read of this, my vet was very concerned and insistent on preventative measures.
