Bradford Away - 2nd Leg Thursday 14th May
Absolutely. Perhaps SS realised it wouldn't be easy to outscore the opposition, so chose a more solid, pragmatic approach. Couldn't give a fuck if it a little more dull, with fewer chances. We got one more than them, and that's all we needed.

Bradford Away - 2nd Leg Thursday 14th May
As above, no one had great consistency- including Cardiff. Once it became unlikely to get second, we perhaps dropped off it a bit. Certainly defensively. Probably true for those other teams around us. Interesting approach over the two legs; it seems that we were looking to be more solid, and perhaps lose a touch of attacking flair. Some giving Burstow a bit of grief, but he was on his own for both games, and they were both tight affairs, with not many clear cut chances for either team.

A fair bit of pre-match "scenes", so if not interested just forward to the goal. Then ignore the main celebration in the distance, and watch Gale giving it to the Bradford fans. ๐

Don't celebrate too loudly if we score. You'll have SWAT banging your door down.

One of our bench got a yellow!

At a push, I would imagine Christie could play on the right of a back three, allowing our full backs to become wing backs. Not that I can see SS doing that, but it may be an option if we appear to be missing Toal.

Nerves doesn't mean folk aren't up for it! I'd hope all our players had some butterflies beforehand. Shows they care.

Todays Games
Haven't seen the incident so difficult to comment. A single, grainy image hardly represents the complete picture though, and if that's the level of investigation required to confirm one way or another, then it wasn't clear and obvious. Hope Hearts do em next up.

Meanwhile In England
Not really the point on a pro Palestine march though is it. Unions are there to protect their members' interests in their working environment. Bugger all to do with religious based strife many hundreds of miles away. How does that work for any of their members that don't support Palestine? An overstepping of their remit. If a union member has wants to demonstrate on such an issue then do so, but not under a banner unrelated to the matter.

Much like weird fuckers taking union banners to a Palestine march. Just think, if this Hantavirus gets out, those teachers will be the first to get a cough and demand school closures.

Transfer Gossip
Not so sure. Some of those losses were stupid fees paid for players who were biz. The next lot of figures may show some improvement- they will also be during our league one time. I would imagine that admission prices will rise should we go up, and I doubt we'll be spunking loads. We will have to become more thrifty either way, as those investors won't chuck more and more money at it.

Transfer Gossip
Says who? Ten million, my arse. That's a similar order to what Birmingham paid for Stansfield, who had at least made a few appearances in the Prem, and was viewed as a top signing. As much as we like ACD, is he really worth ten times what we were led to believe Celtic wanted for Kenny?

What a truly remarkable post his is. I would hazard a guess that he voted Labour. It has been an unmitigated disaster, so by that score he, and all the others who votes labour must be fucking thick. The same thickos that Starmer et al have fucked over as much as anyone. Yet, a party that isnโt even in power, let alone had a couple of years to show its hand and have effect is 100% guaranteed to fuck up its voters first, and the country next. Not only was the buzz phrase "14 years of failure" created and utilzed by opposition parties, we now have 16 years of failure. No one expected those 14 years to be rectified over night, but they also didn't expect it to be significantly worsened so quickly. Nevertheless, the next incumbents will fuck it up. I wish I had that crystal ball- I'd put some numbers on the lottery.
