Not sure what went on yesterday but... If a mob is game they will say in advance they are coming. Playing hide and seek doesnt make you game. Catching people unawares and taking out a group of yoof doesnt mean fuck all either imo. If they are game they will want resistance from proper lads not just a few kids or random groups of lads to scatter about.

Agree with you and Traf on this, it looks awful when there no movement in front but that isnt really their fault. Injuries to Clayton & Davies have hampered us a bit as i think they both make some good runs and provide options.

The guy was a couple of yards away and didnt really move his arm towards the ball. Maybe a bit unlucky but imo it wasnt a cert. Had a penalty been given in our box for that i would have been pissed off big time.

I had a feeling we might struggle after an all action game vs Blackburn. Eidur scores to make it 2-0 and we probably win. Great save by the keeper mind. Trotter doesnt give the ball away for both goals and we get something from the game. Surprised he started over Spearing unless he isnt fully fit. There was 4 or 5 who were below par though, just sods law he was the unlucky one who got punished twice. Not our best, i think the couple of key injuries are taking their toll on our small squad. Hopefully a couple of new faces will arrive in Jan.

Last two games i have noticed that teams are now banking ten behind the ball at every opportunity against us now we have become dangerous. We did well to break them down in the end and once we got the first we should have scored 2 or 3 more on the break once they had to attack. I can see some frustrating games coming up as a lot of teams will be happy to take draws off us. Im chuffed with how we stayed patient and carried on pressing until the opening came.

Its easy to hide behind the I need my own players thing but im glad lenny hasn't taken that easy option. Another thing is we seem to have a couple of options now where under Dougie we seemed to be struggling to put a team out? Lennon has been rewarded by showing faith & believing in the players imo.

A kid at right back who will grow and improve the more he plays. Both centre halves were dodgy but is that their true ability? I think they were underperforming tbh. Feeney is very limited but still looks dangerous and he works hard for one of them types of wingers. Clayton has got great potential. Good touch, movement and pace. Can only see him getting better. CYL is a different player down the middle playing the balls through for the runners. He was never one for beating a man and whipping a cross in. Cravies looked lively when we first bought him but Dougie never played him and ruined his confidence. Lennon has restored that and he is confident and happy again. Danns is a bit risky but hopefully he will do more good than bad over the season. We also beat Cardiff and Brentford who are doing much better. Two sides to every story

Ive not seen anything to be worried about in this league to be fair, anyone can beat anyone if they believe and work hard. We are a tough club to get in the way of once we get on a roll. Weve had one poor game in 6 and I believe that was worth being poor as it was the final nail in Beckford's coffin as leading striker. We are a different team with Davies twatting everything that moves up top I think we will improve further as a team and hopefully Lennon can add a couple of players as well. That said my head is telling me we will just fall short of the playoffs. I would be confident starting next season though.

To be fair im not that bothered if all them go back if it gives Lennon chance to bring in who he wants. We will need a few extra bodies for the xmas period though. The team that started the last two games has done very well though showing that we aren't really reliant on them loan players that much as it stands.

I think he has been on a few times now so wouldn't surprise me. He might have to liven up a bit though as they seem to like gobshites working on there.
