  1. There's already been a little off at Warwick Services today. http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=215793
  2. They still have buses to Preston but they are now Stagecoach not Ribble and leave from the second bottom platform
  3. You are wrong about that. I went to the event and only did so because I saw the thread advertising it on this forum. I didn't feel the need to post "Oh great I'll get along to that, thanks for the heads up".You probably took that to mean apathy.
  4. Disagree with that.Megson was sacked when Bolton were in the relegation zone half way through last season.
  5. "The problem was Gary did not have the relationship with the fans Owen has got" It's true that his personal skills were very poor but that wasn't why Phil Gartside sacked him.Megson was sacked because he had spent ?40 million in his two years at the club and Bolton were in the relegation zone half way through last season. It's a results based industry and Megson's results weren't satisfactory.
  6. We lost Bruce Rioch to Arsenal with a CV no more impressive than Coyle's.
  7. I saw us play Chelsea several times in the 70s and early 80s But we didn't play them when were in the lower divisions with Tony Kelly in the team
  8. Finally a reason for signing Danny Shittu
  9. Garry Birtles on Sky criticised Jaaskalainen for not making it more difficult for Carroll to score. As an ex top flight striker he should know.
  10. We now have 5 points more than we did at this stage last season....
  11. It won't be if he sticks with those 3 in a midfield 4. Petrov for Taylor is a minimum requirement. But then we are back to a team that draws at home to Fulham and Birmingham.Better than losing but not a Bolton that will finish in the top half.
  12. I agree with that. The main weakness in our midfield compared to Newcastle is Muamba. No goal threat, no creativity, no killer pass, yet he is a regular first choice.Winning the ball is part of a midfield players job but when it is a players only attribute it is not enough in a 4-4-2.
  13. I was all for sacking Megson as was every Bolton fan I know, but would have gone for Mark Hughes as a replacement at the time.Coyle is doing a very good job with the limited resources he has available and has surprised me in a good way with the way he has improved the club in a short space of time.
  14. You're only a kid aren't you? Don't believe what the Tories or any other politicians for that matter tell you. Have you forgotten that before the elections Cameron said he wouldn't cut child benefit?
  15. It was an inspired tactical move by Big Sam that changed the game after they'd given us a lesson for 40 minutes. I think Bolton have had 3 managers since then and not scored another goal at Wigan's ground.
  16. I think boredom at the way football and BWFC have gone over the last few years is an important part of it.There was a recession in the early 90s but it didn't stop 3,500 going to Southampton on a Wednesday night and thousands having days out at Grimsby. The poster who said relegation might increase Bolton's away support has a point.Different grounds and promotion to strive for would be something fresh rather than the current situation of scrapping for enough points to survive for another year.
  17. I like how some Tory voters are now moaning at them because they have had their benefit cut.The usual me me me attitude from Tory voters. What about the national debt that is so bad that severe cuts have to be made? Sod my stance on the economy if it means i'm a few pounds a week worse off eh?
  18. I agree, a full back has to do better than that.
  19. I watched it for the first time last time and was disappointed. The girl being sick moment was quite funny but that was it.Not as good as Balls of Steel that I watched on another channel after it.
