Who would you rather have as chairman? Gartside or the likes of Karl Oyston, Peter Ridsdale, Vincent Tan, Milan Mandaric, Carsten Yeung, The West Ham Pornstars, Ron Noades etc Gartside in my eyes is doing a decent job, we have hit the shit since coming down but he has done a decent job in lowering the loss again this year. Stuff like this doesn't happen over night. Yes, due to this we see a lesser calibre of footballer but you either go for it and run the risk of really fucking yourself up or try and play to your means and hopefully have that good year to get you back to the big time. We are clearly doing the latter. If we got promoted again next season the PL money would see to a lot of the problems if wise investment is made, if we don't we carry on the same route to try and balance the books. Either way I am not concerned and happy to have Gartside running the club.

Booking travel in advance always runs a risk of this happening and its a shitter when it does happen. I have fallen foul of this twice and understand frustrations of the people who are losing out here. BUT we all know away days are about the piss up and not the football so just go and have a piss up and be glad you don't have to put up with 90 minutes of your life being taken out of the boozer and take the £30 saved on a ticket as a credit note towards your already laid out expense.
