April 14, 201511 yr Peasant alert. You can mock Anewman for shopping at Lidl, but I had some venison from there and it was lovely, pretty deer mind.
April 14, 201511 yr I love Kangaroo, had it in Aus but not got round to getting it here yet. Venison is lovely and also had Osterich on saturday, both from Aldi.
April 14, 201511 yr Kangaroo leg steaks chewy and a bit on the tough side as you would expect, ostrich steaks much more tender and equally as tasty. Both same price. Cooking time for kangaroo steaks 7-8 minutes per side, Ostrich steaks 2 minutes per side. Says it all really.
April 14, 201511 yr Kangaroo leg steaks chewy Not if it's cooked correctly (very pink). High protein, low fat and there's fucking millions of them. From time to time you can get paid a bounty for hunting them just as you can for goats (all of the time). Latter an introduced pest which eats all of the foliage it can reach depriving native species of their food source. Sorry Widders - here they shoot at them instead of up them.
April 14, 201511 yr Had the venison from Aldi, not seen the Ostrich will have to look out for it. Got all that stuff in Iceland too.
April 15, 201511 yr One doesn't eat culture and refinement...Someone could trough all the focaccia in the World and swill all the Sancerre, they'd still be an ignoble brute (it's Whoops! Butties and Iceland Gateax with readings of Baudelaire in the McAnespie hovel toneet )
April 15, 201511 yr Course they do, you get free venison wings thrown in as well. What to do with that leftover venison Edited April 15, 201511 yr by jayjayoghani
