There's a lot of Feeney bashing going on recently.

Shame there's not been much thought put into it.

Suppose the boo boys have got to have their victim.

Very sad.

Didn't Lennon say only a few games ago that if we had 11 Feeney's we'd be alright?

He's clearly knackered, has been asked to play as a wing back for the last few games which is one of the toughest physically and has hardly anyone to replace him for a much needed rest.

He's not going to set the league alight but when he's on his game he is fast, direct and in this league very effective.

Sad that one of the players (along with Danns) that you can clearly see has put everything into every game this season is now getting stick. There's about 10 players in that squad that should be ahead of him in the queue.

hung out to dry by the manager on saturday and that's a fact

He does his best

and he has played in some very strange positions

Feeney is a decent squad player who like Danns always gives his all. As above if everyone tried like these two we would be better for it.

You can tell I'd Feeney will have a good game after 15 minutes - he seems to have a go at beating his full back and if he can't do it his shoulders drop.

I don't rate him. I think Dougie brought him with the idea that he'd fire crosses into the near post for Beckford. I don't barrack him or get on his back but I don't think he's a long term solution.

I'm not a Feeney fan but I won't criticise anyone who grafts for the team. Yes he's limited but he's not the worst player we have. I would like to have a decent alternative but we don't so let him get on with it

People seem to expect wingers to put every cross onto the forehead of the centre forward for a tap (nod) in. It's fucking nonsense.

As is crossing it into the north stand with 15 yards of space around you

Echoing above, for me he's a hard-working tryer of limited ability

That's about it

When played as a right winger he's often outstanding.

When played anywhere else he struggles.

Limited player but due to his effort and desire one of the few I'd be disappointed if he wasn't here next season.

He can be brilliant - Fulham at home he was unplayable. But Staurday he was shocking. All he seems to offer is pace, his final ball is nothing like that of say Walkers.

But Walker seems to be fucked after 50mins.

Pace is always a threat. I'd like to see Feeney coming iin on a diagonal with pace to meet an Eidur through ball.

Feeney works really hard, but his end product often isnt good enough.

Sometimes he looks fantastic but like others have said he's absolutely nackered now and if there was another option I'd definitely be looking at resting him.

Same with Danns

Feeney is a "confidence" player. When it's going ok it's great, but when he gets caught out a couple of times his head drops. He's a 100%er but we can't afford him week in week out.

I think feeneys sound never had an issue with him he looked lost Saturday but I put that down to Dervite as much as anything he's fast becoming another one of our leaderless centre halves as for being lennys fault - they will have worked on that shape so lack of application isn't his fault IMO
