No, still not interested. Granted there are concerns over the squad, but there are worse squads out there Relegation won't be an issue for us, even after a poor start on paper. I do think though that the january transfer window will be key this season towards deciding the relegation dogfight. So I'm keeping the faith

Me.... "hiya love, wondering if you could help me? Can you give me the odds please on Klasnic scoring 10 goals or more this season?" cashier......."Who?" .....liked this reply, might be a chance of some good odds here "Lads name, Ivan Klasnic, striker for Bolton, 10 or more goals for Bolton this year? What sort of odds we looking at?" " You want to know the odds on Bolton scoring more than 10 goals this year?!?!?" slight chuckle, "Don't take the piss love!!" "well you started it" she replied ..... fair play, made me chuckle "Very good, but seriously, do you know?" few minutes wait while a call is put in to the HO/odds makers..... Which is fine IMO, you can only make 3 subs anyway Having 7 subs is bloody ridiculous in my eyes, yes it gives you added options for the substitutions but it's a game of 11-v-11, having 7 subs is only there so the big money, big clubs don't lose to lesser or poorer financial clubs because of a twist of fate that may or may not occur in 90 minutes, therefore strenghtening their position further as big money, big clubs. it's getting less about the game and more about the money but that's another arguement, sorry.... moving on

QPR L (never good playing a newly promoted side, especially away on their 1st game back int big time) City L (big bollox cash splashers that i'd usually laugh at by not equalling their expenditure by success, however I think they might worryingly be pulling it together ) Liverpool L (Kenny is also worryingly pulling it around) THEY "who shall not be named without spitting immediately after" L (because I want to beat them so badly... we won't) Norwich L (panics hit in so hard with pointless start to season, the "must win game" never gets won) Arsenal L (play them off the park, but somehow still manage to lose heavily) Rent Boys L (just look at previous years goals scored, goals away in recent fixtures... nuff' said) On a positive note, the boys always prove my negativity wrong COYWM On a negative note, I've just jinxed the positive note by stating it Either way, I'll still by there, screaming myself blue in support, drunk as skunk & enjoying the roller coaster ride that is the EPL knowing it can't get worse this year than visiting shiteholes like Scarborough, Newport, Aldershot & the likes back in the day

That'll be me then, as one of the guilty party, not the exact phrase I used, though i'll expand on the comment. I've always said the written word is the worst form of communication, basically because it's in the readers interpretation of the comment & the feeling is never interpretated correctly or expanded on enough that verbal communication can. My point with SWP is that he has built a career on the back of his (step)father's career more than his poorer talented brother did. though it's on the back of their (step)fathers legendary success that's built them up & got them to the opportunity that fortune has been laid upon them, fair play, though it's the media wanting to fill pages & 'old school ties' mentality associated with such that's got him were he his. Good luck to the lad, he's welcome to it!! Take any & every opportunity that life gives you to get the maximum return out of it. Fair play to you Would I want him in the team tomorrow for the gifts he could bring to the team & the needs we have at the moment..... yeah, course i would. Would i do it for 80k a week..... NO, he's not worth it, he's not that good, ageing etc to warrant that amount, compared to equally, yet potential cheaper riskier alternatives. I think, as other clubs also think from their non interest, he's not worth what he thinks he is. He's made his top end, he's got his worth out of the game. He now needs to ask himself..... "what do i want from my last few years?"..... if i was so lucky to be in that situation, the answer is very simple. If we are to believe what we read, he did want to come to us , he's a mate of ZK's & was willing to reduce his wages , though unfortunately not by enough to meet our budget, so clearly didn't want to join us enough. It's simple in my eyes SWP ('cos I am simple) if I was in your shoes, already made my money, now i want to do well as a footballer..... I want to join BWFC, I want to play week in week out, I want to prove i'm as I think I am & by playing week in week out, I want to prove I'm good enough to get back in the England squad, Go to the Euro's next summer, play my little bloody heart out...... & be a LEGEND like my dad was... for the right reasons not just money. THEN he would already be a legend, instead of a money grabbing, final last pay cheque waste of space, modern day footballing LEECH SCUMBAG, we've all become to hate and loathe. Oh, before the usual "why shouldn't he, short playing career, it's the way the game has gone, sympathying media zombies" come back at me....... I give you Exhibit A,....... GUDNI BERGSSON, made an F' load of cash through football, even got offered to extend his career at such a late stage in his career but NO, trained to be a lawyer in his latter playing days............ and left at the top of his game, as a legend. Still works now, even though I'm sure he's enough money not to have to. A proper man, therefore a LEGEND. Anyway, I'm ranting, I hope my worst form of communication, the written word, has made my simplistic view on life/football a little clearer for you (turn off computer, fall in bed, wake up with hangover goodnight all )
