  1. Fucking great news. Woolery all alone up front it is then.
  2. I'm struggling to find anything saying he's done something, wouldn't be surprised if it comes out although I quite like him and we'd be stuffed if he has been suspended
  3. I have but it's not far, not expensive, they had the deal going before Friday and (for all intents and purposes) have just been taken over. I was expecting about 800 on, and from what I'd heard around assumed I would be right, just a bit disappointed.
  4. How have we only sold 400 for this?
  5. No we only have the one directors loan to Warburton at around £2.5m I believe Apparently the asset sales were completed to pay off a debenture, overdraft and mortgage with NatWest
  6. I would be arsed about this president position but it really doesn't mean anything, he doesn't have any influence or control anymore and that's all that really matters.
  7. A good one would. A good one would also start with wingers against shit fullbacks.
  8. No, it wasn't. It just invites pressure by adding another defensive midfielder. Get Woolery on and play it over into a corner and have him pressure in their half, not sit back and hoof it and repeat. Tactically inept.
  9. I'll say it again, the amount of shots we allow from letting players approach the edge of the box unchallenged is pathetic. I'd be interested to know his conversion rate of saves to shots, because he faces way too many.
  10. Lennon's fault, shit tactically against a team who's weakness is at fullback and struggle against pace. Left Zach crowded and the width unexploited, and the substitution of Danns was the worst, crying out for an outlet in the channels and he invites yet more pressure by bringing on our worst defensive midfielder.
  11. FTFY
  12. I agree, I'm more than willing to have a quiet word with anyone who takes exception, after I've observed the minute myself. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one.
  13. Thanks for the good times Phil, memories we'll all cherish. RIP.
  14. Suppose you have to count for inflation, and if we're talking about spending less that those you're competing with Leicester's team cost a tenth of what City's did yesterday.
  15. I think Rob Holding is our best player by a country fucking mile, what a defender he is. The more I see them the more I wonder why these young lads aren't getting more games, Woolery's pace is monstrous. Anyway, great result, not a good performance but who gives a shit? Madine and Trotter in for Heskey and Madine next game and we're looking a decent side. Not that Heskey didn't do well, just can't do it for long enough.
  16. I'm pretty sure the TV money that the Premier League secures is spread across the league so everyone gets the same, that's the impression I had anyway? The prize money is obviously staggered by final position and I assume that will increase with the extra revenue that the league makes though.
  17. South American. Any variation, Colombian or Venezuelan probably joint top. Nothing better.
  18. Depending on how hard you caught it, it was worth three goals.
  19. Interesting, what is the concensus on self-assisted volleys? Always not allowed at our school
  20. I think it was a PR stunt more than anything, he doesn't need them but having them involved gives his bid some good will.
  21. After a swift Google I have determined this guy is infact a real life Bond villain. Keywords: Embezzlement. Lebanon. CIA. Caucuses. Turkmenistan. Warrant.
  22. I like Barkley a lot, has all the attributes to be a great player but he is without doubt one of the worst decision makers I have seen on a football pitch. Luckily that is something that can be coached, not by Martinez though. I don't think any of them have to leave to better themselves, the club needs a better manager to get the better out of them. Fully fit and with a bit more depth there is no reason that Everton squad shouldn't be a regular Top 4 side but it's whether they can muster the ambition to go for it.
  23. Clayton, Woolery, Walker... All good options, especially if we are relegated.
  24. I feel like he's had much more abuse elsewhere than here. Blackburn fans hated him with a passion.
  25. Never heard of him, they can stay away from Samizadeh though.
