  1. Have we got our TIFO ready for tomorrow night? I'm envisioning a 20ft bed sheet being lowered from the West stand roof, with the words 'C'mon Bolton ' wrote on in black paint. That's the kind of sarcasm I can get behind 😁
  2. Are the 2 things not 1 of the same? Do we have many freebies flying around for the playoffs compared to a regular league game? Those that buy for this match turn up 99% of the time.
  3. Taking into account the 1st leg is at home and nothing will be decided I reckon just chipping over 20k is about right. The Ipswich division 1 playoff semi home leg got around 22k and that was a Saturday 3pm kick off for a chance to get into the Prem.
  4. Who is this Shabby Shaun Mcginlay keeps referring too?

The club should add that any non season ticket holder attending Tuesday night will get priority in the 2nd phase of sales for Wembley, should we get there of course. That would add a few. P.S please no pitch invasion Tuesday, that would be an embarrassment.
  6. Does anybody know if I'll have a problem getting my daughter a child's ticket for next Tuesday when on open sale? I'm a STH but want to sit in a different seat with her for the playoff match. She's not and I only signed her up as a member yesterday. The message sent out says members need to have an account registered from 20th April.
  7. I predict the match will pass the 100 minute mark.
  8. They froze their season tickets for next season, which when relegated generally gets fans backs up. They're also more expensive than ours.
  9. Thanks, but I think starting completely afresh might be my best option. Like I say since I set up the membership I never saw a box to tick to add a ST code, I was just assigned a 6 digit code. Been a ST holder for 23 years. Miss the days of writing an hand written letter applying for away match tickets, never missed out. Even when the cheques initially bounced 😂
  10. So I have to set up a brand new online membership do you mean? I'm not sure how to do this?
  11. I've had this online membership for about 3 seasons now and all it's ever said is 'I don't have the correct membership' to buy tickets. How the hell do I assign my ST to my membership as obviously the two things aren't connected? I'm gonna do the typical, go up there and join the back of the queue.
  12. Had a look at previous playoff home games from way back when the other day. I think it read Ipswich 23k and the West Brom game was 18k,plus they would have had bigger away followings and higher stakes. I'd say anything over 20k is a decent return.
  13. Doubt we'll be close, I reckon about 20-22k on. You have to take into account the 1st game isn't the decisive match and all season tickets holders have to buy a ticket rather than it just be included in the cost.
  14. It's not really been touched upon but I remember our last semis in the playoffs, in particular the 1st leg away at Gary Megson's West Brom. We found ourselves 2-0 down and looking like we'd given ourselves a mountain to climb. Allardyce decided to bring on Frandsen as sub for a striker, and was given dogs abuse from sections of the away end. From that point we came back into it, with Frandsen scoring from the penalty spot to make it 2-2 late on. The rest as they say became history.
  15. You're shit, aaaaaaah!!! Can somebody explain what the jelly and ice cream comments are about please? I missed that one.
  16. Can't be arsed reading the full thread. I'm hoping we sew up this 5th spot as I'm expecting Barnsley to finish 4th. I feel confident we can do them over 2 legs. If I'm to pick a finalist also, I'll take the Posh. Before you know it we'll be on the beach, dreaming of the championship 😎
  17. I'm sure it was Mcginlay testimonial. It finished 3-2 at the Reebok, in a night match vs Preston. I have it in my head it was sandwiched between the last home game of the season, a 1-0 win vs Norwich, and the 1st leg of the playoff, 2-2 vs Ipswich.
  18. Alphonse Tchami having a stormer for Bolton vs Preston in the Mcginlay testimonial match back in 2000.
  19. Not a penalty for me. Watching on ifollow and it looked like Charles was expecting the defender to cut across him. The defender pulled his leg back at the last second, I didn't see any contact whatsoever.
  20. Twattish sounds about right. Got sick of them calling our own fans 'boring twats' for having the gall to sit down in a seated stand. I heard one guy shout to Dixon "fuck off you Barrow cunt" at 0-0. A few also booed Delphouneso coming onto the field. Just grow up!
  21. I'm no expert on the matter but just read there's no away fans car park. It might be worth hiring a space nearby rather than relying on street parking.
  22. I can't figure out buying online for this, just says I don't have the right membership. Is having a season ticket not fookin enough these days? I miss writing the club a nicely worded letter complete with cheque for away tickets... no, honestly. Either way rang through and got 3 tickets. First away game since Accrington, so expectations are low 😂
  23. Open terrace or covered do you know?
  24. As far as I read it your mate would have been eligible for the discount if he had booked before the 7th July having bought part of a season ticket last year. I specifically asked for my old ST on the phone but the lady answering said it had already been sold.
