I went to the Guimaraes match and I'm pretty sure Bolton only charged us 17/18 quid for that irrespective of what the ticket says. Regarding the Aris match at the Reebok the best thing about that game was their fans. They let off flares before the ko and when the stewards waded in to chuck a couple out they massed on the stewards and knocked them back down the steps. Proper lads!

Maybe it's been mentioned before on this thread but I never understand these warm weather training camps we had during the week. Some may say it recharges the batteries for our regular first teamers but to my mind having a relaxing training session at 20c won't prepare us for a 90 minute match at 5c. Maybe I'm paranoid but whenever I hear a team has gone for a 'winter break' they don't seem to have the same levels of concentration the next match.

As regards season ticket holders the club definitely need to do the interest free monthly payment scheme again next season. Otherwise the attendance will die a death and peasants like myself will be begging QuickQuid for a loan.

I made the decision to walk back to Lime Street after the match (cheap bastard). It was only when we got to Goodison I realised we were walking in the wrong direction! Plenty of Wanderers in that wetherspoons when we got back, almost an hour after ft.
