  1. Anyone watched the new series of Vigil? Enjoyed the first and thought this was just a repeat so not started it yet
  2. It will He expects lots of retrospective studies looking at all sorts of angles as well.
  3. Talking to a scientist bod down in the office today. He was telling me about some research that is going to take place (possibly already started) that is going to look at folk who had Covid (no matter how many times) and have reported problems ever since mainly related to lung conditions (infections, breathing, and the like). Will take a few years to collate but will hopefully prove or disprove that possible connection
  4. Beaten by a much better team on the night. It happens. They were very good. Fuck it. Next…
  5. This i live amongst Utd fans. They have no truck with us. A mild curiosity if anything. Wigan can get fucked every day
  6. Any idea who would go in goal if Baxter went off?
  7. Only discovered this a couple of years ago. Much prefer it to a regular chilli
  8. Aye, neighbour when I lived in Bolton got done for being asleep in his car when pissed. Exact same reasoning. In control of it I do worry about the next morning thing. Especially up in Scotland where the limit is lower
  9. Wolves came for the last game of the 79/80 season and it was carnage on the embankment. Could be wrong but seem to remember them flooding in from behind the back of the embankment via that walkway. Would be before the no man’s land and the use of part of the Burnden paddock for away fans? Lad on our estate who was older than me was one of the ‘Warbies’ I think who stood right next to the away fans. Was cycling around the estate that night wearing Wolves hats and scarves that he’d nabbed So I think those works on the embankment were late 79/early 80
  10. Cordless Dyson still doing its stuff after 7 years. Had to get a new battery about a year ago. Wash the filters every month it keeps on going @Cheesethe robot still powers on. Full house vacuum yesterday (stairs excepted). Again, keep the filters clean and it’s a godsend for a lazy count like me Henry sits in the garage looking mournful
  11. Lockerbie Strange one. Not sure what to think after watching it. CIA and the Muricans? Libya? Iran? Felt immensely sad for Dr Jim Swire. But was he chasing a conspiracy?
  12. Police horses union not happy with this
  13. Learned to drive in my Mums mini ATJ166J was it’s reg whatever year that was Hole in the floor where you could see the road. My dad put a piece wood under the back of the drivers seat to stop it falling through the floor Choke start and double declutching downshifts. Youngsters need not ask

  15. Everton fans must be so proud of themselves
  16. Indeed. Consistent and he’s a great player. Inconsistent and he’ll get rounded on. Hope he continues. There’s a good player in there

  18. Just seen they’ve won only one less game than City and Liverpool and drawn none. Lost 5 though Poor today but 3-0 is a good win obvs
