  1. I'm thinking she prefers a brown duck
  2. Tony Caldwell's winner at Rochdale in the Freight Rover
  3. It means it wasn't of his own accord
  4. Fair play to Robben for joining the ranks of winners "You don't want the stamp of a loser". His own words.
  5. £32 million is an amazing figure for Norwich in the 2 years since promotion, not much less than Sam Allardyce and Owen Coyle spent in their 8 years in the Premier League combined id guess.
  6. Widely reported across the media that his 150k salary at Palace was either trebled or just more than trebled to 500k
  7. That makes the salary Gartside's given Freedman even more baffling.A Premier League contract without the nous to get a job done against Blackpool. That'll be why Gartside was booting the tunnel in frustration.
  8. I misunderstood Whelan.I can't believe he took a chance on sacrificing £30 million TV money for a crack at the FA Cup.
  9. It's all about Whelan though, like Bolton was all about Allardyce
  10. How come you don't look on the bright side, crack open a six pack and have a good laugh when the council miss your bin?
  11. Fair play to them, the only cup trimuph us Bolton fans who aren't pensioners have had to cheer is the open top bus parade when we won the Sherpa Van.
  12. Really small time of Arsenal wasn't it? It was like they'd just scored a last minute winner in the FA Cup Final.
  13. 45 minutes from Yeovil getting a league visit from the FA Cup holders.Unbelievable
  14. I'd build some more houses instead of paying £3 million for a funeral
  15. Off top of my head, Paul Jewell, Mike Newell, David Lowe, Tony Kelly and Kevin Langley are all Scousers that come into that category from back in the 80s
  16. I think anybody who watched Bolton on a regular basis throughout the 1980s is going to dislike Wigan. What's not to dislike about a local club that used to beat us as often as we beat them.Did the double on us the year we were relegated to Division 4, knocked us out of the League Cup in Division 4, broke Jeff Chandler's leg, a shit Friday night defeat there in one of Phil Neal's play off seasons, there goalscorer giving us the vs.There is quite a long list of why there was a rivalry before Dave Whelan transformed them. They even made it to Wembley before we did in the 1980s and unlike us didn't get hammered the first time, they won.I think a problem since Wigan joined the league is they are picking up some of the young Scousers that aren't good enough for Liverpool or Everton but are more than adequate for the likes of Bolton and Wigan
  17. Most positive thing Freedman has done since coming here imo. Finally a glimmer of hope the six years of shit might be coming to an end.
  18. Unbelievable. I thought Sam took it all away in a removal van when he left to try and screw us up.
  19. And more importantly Wigan have won more silverware than Bolton in the last 50 years. This is May 1958 for Wiganers.Unbelievable.My thoughts have turned from jealously when Watson scored the WINNER to admiration of them.Whelan and Martinez have proved themselves to have a better cup team than anything Bolton have had to offer since the 1950s.Better than the White hot teams or the Okocha/Djorkaeff team that beat Villa in the semi final.Wigan didn't fall at the final hurdle or bottle it against Oldham, they produced on the biggest stage. They won the cup.Hats off to the WINNERS.
  20. Like winning a tenner the day after my dad died would.Wigan have just won the FA Cup
  21. I did see that minor point at the bottom of the report of his latest defeat.
  22. What about Garty? Did he believe?
  23. We've bottled it every time on the biggest stage since 58 Even Rioch and Allardyce couldn't get em going until they were 2-0 down in the cup finals. Why the fuck Wigan don't bottle it and Bolton do i don't know. Just gotta admire em.
  24. That comes down to bad managerial appointments? Whelan can spot em.
  25. You've not watched the cup final then.Wigan were fantastically well organised. The perfect performance for a £40 million wage bill club against one of the mega wages outfits.
