  1. Bolton have made a habit of falling out with departing stars over the past decade..and then replaced them with lower quality. Davies was one of those who regularly attended the club functions, he was a good man. He'll get a warm reception if he ever comes back to do the half time lottery.I hope he hasn't fallen out with Bolton for good over this.
  2. I don't know how Whelan can turn out better sides than Blackpool and Bolton on £25 tickets. You can watch Tottenham at Wigan for £25 and it's £32 to watch shite like Blackpool here.
  3. He isn't ranked 2nd any more that was the point of bumping the thread. He lost and has slipped back down to number 3
  4. If you think the best players rank the tennis Olympics as high as the majors, im sorry to say you don't know tennis. You don't do you?
  5. The Olympics to Nadal and Djokovic is the Europa League to Man Utd and Barcelona, not bothered about it. The US Open when Nadal was injured and only one of Federer and Djokovic faced was the exception in Murray's career.Making the most of a favourable route once doesn't make a winner
  6. In world class tennis terms he is neither a winner or loser, he is a "nearly man"
  7. Bit hasty there Andy Murray will lose his world number two ranking after a poor performance in losing 6-1 6-2 to Stanislas Wawrinka in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters.
  8. If they gave 100%, threw their bodies on the line, put their heads in where it hurt etc but still shipped in 3 at Leicester then they are being badly managed. If Freedman doesn't know how to organise a team away from home I suggest he watches DVDs of how Allardyce and Martinez have their teams set up away from home. The idea is to stop the ball hitting the back of our net.Letting it hit the back of our net 3 times against a poor, out of form team team like Leicester is awful
  9. He's gone down to an out of form 2nd Division club with a 30 million wage bill and 5 man midfield to keep it tight but shipped 3 in Its fucking pathetic
  10. Not me, I've said before i think too many in this Bolton set up are losers.Whelan wouldn't give the likes of Knight and Eagles minimum wage jobs cleaning his gym toilets. Was Gartside pissed when he let his management give Premier League contracts to these? It's not over regards getting in the play offs but tonight tells me everything i need to know. This set up don't deliver when the pressure is on.Expect another bollockless Watford or Stoke if these get to Wembley.
  11. So am i, i've got real spring in my step.COYW
  12. Not when there's enough of our spare money to pay £10 million for a wealthy person's funeral.
  13. I think the surprise will be other results go as expected. Forest and Brighton will make it tough.I think we have to beat Leicester and then win the two home games. There's a chance a draw at Leicester and two home wins will be enough but i don't think it will and I think Cardiff is unwinnable.Basically Leicester is the biggie.Win it, i think play offs, don't win it, i think we stay down.
  14. Only interested in " I told you so" when we start next season in the Premier League.Anything less than promotion is failure
  15. sad sad day im going to vomit. Please Millwall batter them on the car park
  16. fucks sake, the winners are delivering
  17. I don't see any hypocrisy at all.If it had been Major died it I don't think Liverpool fans would respect the silence.Mind you, Reading probably wouldn't be arsed having one for Major and im sure they wouldn't have one if a Labour leader died. And like to point out that Liverpool don't hate all posh, rich, southern women .They paid Princess Di the honour of cancelling their home game v Newcastle when she died.
  18. Thanks for the offer but i'd rather jump off Shudehill than watch Wigan win an FA Cup semi final and qualify for Europe.
  19. Stony broke and waiting for the Charity Shield
  20. Albeit currently a "shit" club with a better team, better manager, better chairman and a better average gate than us.This all stems from Wigan having a better chairman because 10 years ago we were averaging 18,000 a home game more than Wigan but somehow Gartside has screwed that massive advantage up and that wily old fox Whelan has overtaken us as a club in many areas.for example better team, better manager and better gate.
  21. The last era Wigan had a better team than Bolton some Boltoners took it really badly and emigrated didn't they?
  22. Wigan - 18,996 Bolton - 17,691 Not the first time Wigan have had a better team than us, but the first time they have ever had a better gate.
  23. Impossible to dislodge for now, carry on using the downstairs shitter.
  24. They say Bury's lovely. No charity shops pound shops bookies or nuffink.
  25. It's possible we'll be above Man Utd this time next season.
