Food of the gods on a cold winters morning

Kids Breakfast
Haha is it fuck. There's no two ways about it. It's an energy rush from too much sugar.

Bolton Is A Dump
Because it's a lot easier to get to Bolton than Manchester for anyone from north / west of Walkden. Not so much Middlebrook to be fair. My folks still go to Bolton if my mum wants to buy a dress or whatever, they'd never go to Manchester. Should be enough people in Bolton to support a decent town centre with a decent sized representative of each high street chain, it's more a question of not letting landlords/certain types of establishments/dereliction wreck the place I guess.

Cameron & Milliband
Things have gone as well as could have been hoped IMO, economy wise A lot of the nasty - and not even very effective - policies have let them down, it's hard to get on board with that stuff But we surely can't allow a Labour / SNP shitshow to be put in charge of affairs, an absolute recipe for disaster

Kids Breakfast
It's easy to get uptight about it, but I ate a load of sugary nonsense as a kid. Not the end of the world from an obesity point of view. I've barely ever been anything approaching overweight in my life because I played football morning noon and night and have stayed very active as an adult. My teeth are shite though. I do believe it messes with their concentration / behaviour though. You see it in them within 10 minutes of eating anything sugary / artificial. They turn into bloody gremlins.

Pensions
If you look up any calculations on compound interest and long term growth of capital, trust me, you are far better to do it now rather than in future years. If you wait ten years, you'll have to pay in twice as much to catch up (very rough numbers).

Pensions
Public sector? I'm 18% (private sector, 6% me, 12% them)

Ant Infestation
Garden centre will have stuff. You can buy a plastic block which has 4 smallish holes in, they then come in, take a piece of the 'poison' back to the nest, they all die. Inaccessible to dogs but you might want to be careful where you put it I guess. I've used it and it works. When I've had them, they've been nesting in plant tubs/containers in sunny positions in front of the house.

Gazza
A lot of the 'weird' statements were Mark Twain and James Joyce quotes. Fuck knows why. But they weren't (all) Gazza speaking in tongues. Disgusting the way these parasites are feeding on him though. Truly disgusting.

Shedding A Beer Gut
For me you could run and run, but you'll still have a skinny frame with a belly if there's nowt to you I'd do weights/resistance exercises instead, and make sure you're eating plenty of protein and greens etc as described above Stick to the main compound (i.e. they hit more than one muscle) exercises like Squats, bench, shoulder press, pull ups, press ups If you can't be doing with the gym, you could achieve quite a lot by eating better and just doing press ups, squats, lunges, tricep dips etc in your living room Running is a bit of a zero sum game IMO for skinny people. It's the skinniness of the rest of your body that makes the gut look big.

Putin
Looking at it, mostly ethnic Russian, why would it be a problem? Bear in mind I had never heard of it 5 minutes ago

Putin
Maybe if we weren't twatting about in Ukraine he wouldn't be retaliating. Meddling in other peoples affairs, again

The Furthest You Have Walked Home.
In my early teens we used to go on the bus to Salford, Eccles, Manchester or wherever and walk home to LH. Something to do. Wouldn't want to do it pissed, I always think I'm going the wrong way, if I do have to walk somewhere drunk.

Paris Shooting.
It's a fucking sop introduced in 1996, a wrong minded piece of legislation to accommodate foreigners, get a grip It's hardly the centel tenet of uk law, honed over centuries You're just arguing for the sake of it
-
Paris Shooting.
Not sure how you come to that conclusion I've a problem with both We've got our own legal system and no other should be entertained
-
Paris Shooting.
We don't need or want a wanderersways court because we all live by the law of the land, and don't ask for any different The act you quote sounds like an excuse to allow sharia (and other) laws to exist, we've a decent enough legal system as it is haven't we?
-
Paris Shooting.
Incredibly naive. I have lived in and around London for 20 years and before 9/11 mostly people would kind of laugh about the nutters there shouting down with the west and suchlike. Turns out one of the 9/11 plotters, plus Richard Reid the shoe bomber and plenty of others were strongly linked to the place. Abu Hamzas own kids are terrorists. We were very complacent about them and in noble uk tradition allowed them their freedom of speech, but they were far more dangerous and serious than anybody knew. They prey on potentially sympathetic, vulnerable and often mentally ill kids in our cities and turn them into terrorists. It's not a few nutters outside Finsbury park mosque.
-
Paris Shooting.
That is fucking weak and an admission that you have bent to their will. If it was Catholics gunning people down for enquiring about child abuse in the church you'd be outraged.
-
Paris Shooting.
If you were a journalist would you be comfortable speaking your mind about the issue? If your opinion was potentially inflammatory to these idiots? You wouldn't. And I bet lots of media outlets wouldn't allow their writers to publish that opinion now. So some freedoms have already been lost, whether folk admit it or not.

British Gas
Dunno it was about 2 years ago, my mum didn't complain, I would have. You don't give companies your custom so some ignorant twat who doesn't want to do the job can give you attitude in your own home. He was moaning that he shouldn't have been sent alone, like it was my mums fault, and had a right face on. Engineers that have been to me have always been spot on and I've saved a fortune paying for cover, given the shite boiler I've got and how many times it has conked out ha

British Gas
British Gas have been really good with me Virtually replaced the whole boiler even though the cause was limescale which is excluded in the policy That said they did my mum's new boiler and the bloke who rocked up was an utter dick apparently, you'll always have bad eggs Would just report him
