Been to Chester races and stopped off on the way back at Frodsham to sample the delights, got copped with a local wench and missed the mini bus.

The Temple to Daisy Hill in my purple ralph lauren shirt, well it was one of them fakes where the horses legs didnt cross or summat. Anyway walked home with 20 embassy number 1 they got taken off me in Deane, had to stop for a sit down on that bridge across from the pigeons because I had a blister, limped the rest of the way after thinking it was a good idea to pop it.

2006 did the same. Was grimmest hour/hours of the weekend. One of our group was still in chatty mode whilst everyone else was unable to muster a single word retort. It was fucking hell.

 

Couldn't wait to get under the duvet in the back seat and crack open a beer whilst my mate drove the 5 of us home at 35mph down the motorway.

When they closed Eagley way people used to be able to get 'free' taxis from the Wigan clubs to Bromley Cross. If you were quick!

When Bolton nightlife was great in the 70s, never thought twice about walking home to Astley, stopping off at Soldier Blue for a butty on the way home.

That is pure bad luck, been all over the country and been in scrapes with football and nightclubs in the past, but that is shite when you get done on your own doorstep, had it once when I got jumped in 82 walking home not far from home.

done a similar walk to that from Creamfields but i didnt make it to warrington. had some illuminous fur wrapped around me as well.

 

i got someway back down the 56 until my mate picked me up. i remember telling him i was ok and enjoying it before i eventually got in the car

We were hammered so decided in our wisdom the safest way back was down the tracks so bumbled our drunken way down them.

Walked up the tracks after being shunted on a train in Wembley Sidings after falling asleep on the midnight train from Manchester, got to Stonebridge Park Station.

Littleton Road, Salford to Highfield, Farnworth in the snow.

 

About 8 miles, took ages.
