its not denting a clear goalscoring oppo as MJ was there, and the ball was going away from goal. Not sure the challenge itself was red worthy.

Hes lucky he didint see red, but it would have a been a mistake by the ref,

Getting away with this at the moment, that early goal should have lit the touchpaper but we have been really scrappy so far and we’re now living dangerously here just like we did against Cambridge and you fear the same thing happening. Evatt needs a big wake up at HT.

Doing our best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory....

I've just seen it and for me, it's a red all day.

Lucky to be on the pitch Trafford

Apart from the goal, it's not quite working for us yet - promising approach play but there it ends. Another goal to settle the nerves please.

Cheer up.

We're winning.

Might not be perfect, but we're struggling for a decent back 3, and doing ok.

If it goes tits up later, so be it, but it won't be for a lack of effort.

MJ is never a CB in the Memory of man

he could cost us

What for ?

 a. Denying a obvious goalscoring opportunity (which he wasnt, as the ball was going towards the corner flag, with a covering defender).

or

b. Dangerous/reckless challenge ?

They are the only 2 things he could be sent off for, and I'm not sure it ticks either box.

A.

Might not be  dead striaight, but the striker gets onto that every time for me.

B. It's also reckless- he sent the lad flying.

Be right pissed off if it was the other way round.

Very lucky so far.

Trafford's foul was a red all day. MJ's performance so far is exactly as I expected.

b....it was a rugby tackle

Self destructive is putting it lightly. Oxford aren't even asking us any questions and are incredibly poor, yet just a couple of clearances or balls in behind and we killing ourselves here.

Missing Rico and Toal is the obvious reason. The back 5 need better organisation regarding their line and when or when not to drop.

We need to implement our style more now than ever before, have as much possession and settle the back lines. Really important we keep up a high intense press to defend from the front

Yup. It's all well and good IE suggesting we'll outscore them but defending like this we're going to need more goals sooner rather than later.

Straight balls down the middle are causing us problems now . May be bring Thomason on play him in front of the defence

I can’t believe we’re winning with MJ in the side.

Surely the EFL need to look into this. Can they reverse a result if a player the fans don’t like ends up on the winning side? Seems the only fair way to do things.

Would it not be worth giving Jerome a chance instead of MJ in the middle of defence? Surely he has to be a better option than Williams?

It’s ok, I’ve emailed the Football League and they won’t give us any points if we win. They agree that playing MJ is a travesty and will award oxford the victory.

Theyve also said they’ll make Evatt walk home for picking him.

I saw MJ Williams setting fire to a blind fella’s guide dog the other day

It’s because MJ Williams has put Tabasco sauce in the underwear of our midedielders.
