Just back.

Went via the in laws in Coventry for the weekend. Got back to Cov around 7, set off home after some tea around 9. Ukrainian Easter, so absolutely stuffed with cheese and smoked sausage. Great day so far.

Breakdown just after Keele: radiator coolant hose gone. Great. 3 hour wait, with irritable missus and excitable labrador... to get towed to Sandbach. Quoted £300 and another 1, 2 hour wait for a different lorry to get home. "Fucked off" doesn't even cut it.

So instead, my absolute saint of a mate (originally Everton, but now a BWFC ST holder for 2 seasons, and coming to Burton on Tuesday) picked us up in his Fiesta.

We'll fetch our car tomorrow (today 🙃).

What you do for 3 points, eh?

I'd have settled for a 1-0 win over Cambridge and a 1-1 draw at Oxford so well chuffed with that 'reset'.

Conor Bradley's influence just seems to grow and grow.

Don't like where we have to go on Tuesday so hoping against hope for a positive result. Their tails will be up after the weekend. Any points at all very welcome. Three will be bloody brilliant.

Im sure when we lost 5-0 Paul, we beat them at home in the same season?

Yes. I think JohnnyRotten has beaten me to it but that's the one. The year when all the singers went back to the Lever End in the green seats!

In the last few weeks Burton have beaten Sheff Wed., Wycombe & Barnsley. Albeit stuffed by Peterborough and Ipswich.

Confirmed Mbete out for the season so we may have seen the last of him.

Doubt we miss him.

It ain’t often I wake up feeling ill.

Must have done 20 yesterday.

Awful performance, good win @ great day out.

Made better by the fact that 13 Derby got on our train @ New Street….

Moaning bastards…..

Belting win, not a vintage performance.

The ground is a pain in the arse to get to. It's no better than MK as a day out. Won't be coming again unless we are here next season.

Up the shithousing whites. Did anyone not get booked?

Worry not. Cameron Jerome will slot in there nicely.

Great day out and result. Nerves jangling again like Exeter. God we have been shit this year apart from about three games but should get in the playoffs now.

really need Santos fully fit before the playoffs- don’t think Toal is as important as long as Johnston and Jones keep fit.

Hope Oxford stay up because their fans are very friendly

Really good that.

That stand seems to make for a good atmosphere, considering it's not a massive away section.

Name a single song that isn't sung at multiple clubs with slightly different words.

Tbf when I first heard the song I wasn’t keen given Utd were the only team to sing to that tune and have done so for decades, but it’s certainly grown on me since Wembley!

Don't Celtic sing You'll Never Walk Alone too? Someone definitely does.

Wandererersx3 gets sung by Wycombe.

Blue Moon fair enough.

Even this was a Manchester United song. First sung at Old Trafford shortly after the Munich disaster before a Scouse band did a cover version a few years later.

You'll have enjoyed hearing your old song at Anfield this year then. I wonder if they sang it once for each of Liverpool's seven goals?
