Spicy shit

Two things I have eaten recently that I have instantly regretted.

First was "hotter than the sun" chicken wings from Bunny Jacksons in Manchester. My fucking make up was dripping off my face from the first taste. Pure pain it was. Nothing enjoyable about the little bastards.

Second was these bloody things. I think my intestines may have fallen out of my bum bum.

Why do i do this to myself? Anyone else like to torture themselves with stupidly spicy delicacies?

our induction was pretty cheap

not necessarily through choice, but more that we are limited to 240v as we only have one 'big' supply to the kitchen

Folk have been using them for decades, I'm not sure there really is that much danger....

When we get the kitchen done, we'll definitely be moving from Gas to Induction, Mrs Sweep has already spotted some sort of AGA thing with induction plates on it that she reckons we're getting

Like I said, research newly done.

Perhaps it's a build up of particulates or something, I don't know.

Plenty of things mankind has done before which we wouldn't do now.

What's that connected to then?

Another recent convert to induction here, and very happy to be. Most of our cookware was already steel or iron so not too much thrown out. Had to upgrade our supply to 32A though.

Quicker/more efficient boiling a kettle (stove type) on the induction than using a plug in one.

Doesn't switch itself off though.

It’s your current (amps) limited by the size of feeder cable and Miniature Circuit Breaker MCB in Distribution Board (consumer unit). Your “big” supply is probably 32 amps goes to old oven faceplate and everything else is on a ring main for plug outlets .

Aye.

My question above wasn't clear, as I was asking what is connected to his current "big supply" if he can't use it for his induction hob.

Cannabis farm? 😁

Once made a prawn curry: it was by far the hottest thing I've ever tasted. The capsaicin level was so high, my lips would tingle before the food was in my gob!

Neither of us could eat it.

Got ourselves the Mowgli cook books for Christmas.

Currently working our way through... Agra chicken last night and keema tonight.

Has anyone tried making roti's or any breads? Is it worth the hassle?

you need the proper mix from our friends down DAUBHILL

then a flat pan thing to cook in on

better with a Gas hob

or a HOT grill

Yes it is.

They're piss easy. Flour, water and maybe a touch of oil. A tandoor is the best way to cook them, but we don't have them in out homes, so a hot plate suffices.

Naans take a bit more time as they're levened.

Indeed. Always have a blob on the plate.

This fucker was just off the scale sadly.

Burned and was unpleasant in the extreme.

Followed a recipe too, so God knows how some eat it.

Sweet. Mowgli needed wholemeal flour which aldi didn't have but will definitely be giving them a go.

Supermarket breads are dog shit.

Mowgli keema is 👍by the way
