Just been chopping onions, honest

You in that club too? I am. She's never met him, and never shown any interest in doing so yet (as far as I know), but I suspect it's only a matter of time.

No, it just brings a lump to my throat.
But as an aside, I met up with my own daughter yesterday for the first time in over 10 yrs.

Thanks, mate.

I think it did, but it was a little strange. I’ve advised her to go and think about what she wants to do and how we best go about it. The ball is in her court.

I’m dad to Fogarty junior and got the usual stuff from her and WtD which was very nice.

A few years ago I was adopted as grandad by a young woman I worked with who has been disowned by her dad, didn’t get on with rest of the family and had been having trouble with her mental health.
She sent me a really nice text about being the grandad who stuck by her when she needed one.

I must’ve got some shampoo in my eyes a bit.

Why are you reading texts whilst washing your hair?

Testing my new waterproof phone of course.

Wish I’d said grit now, or dust or something.

Hang on what am I explaining myself for? You know what I meant.

You could just say it made you cry.

Makes my teeth itch all the 'there must have been some dust in the room'
