Jason Mcateer is the guest on the 90's football podcast, "Quickly Kevin will he score".  Comes accross really well and some great Bolton mid 90's anecdotes thrown in.  Well worth a listen.

Cheers. On for my listening on wed after a mate recommended too. Brother was at uni and had a few pints with him after Liverpool move and loved talking about the wanderers

Aye hadn't realised I'd missed it so much.

That Scottish boy saying "the boy Potter" 🤣

Absolutely great that, must have rewound it 5 times to listen to it again. Same with that "Who the fuck is Michael Essien" bit, just brilliant.

Sounds like something went down with The Athletic. I do wonder if they got uncomfortable with the relentless pounding of Richard Keys!

Really enjoyed listening to that, I lost touch with Quickly Kevin for a few years so binging through some of them now.

(off topic, I'm well glad Football Cliches has started up again too)

I think moving Widdicombe has been another pleasant bonus

Don’t mind him tbh. He can be a bit annoying but he genuinely loves his 90s football and the  lower leagues and is very knowledgeable

Quickly Kevin is by far my favourite football podcast. They even made Lineker listenable
