The colonel cock blocked me at wolves away under Megson. Last dance before I met my wife😳

Radcliffe’s colonel! I would never believed that ! And he’s from Westhoughton.bury and Westhoughton collaboration, some on here would want to see that

Well I’m never going again. I think it’s my worst aggregate team. Not that I’ve worked it out. Only one I missed in recent times was the 1-0 win😂

That's the only one I've done at Hull apart from the McGinlay/pitch invasion night match.  For the 1-0 win the club put on free coaches.  Remember those days when the club tried to attract fans to attend away games?

Yep seems mad they don’t have to lift a finger 2 divisions below now when you think about it. We must support the most complex club in England to a degree. Me I’ve seen div 4 up then down again and hopefully up. Only Burnley and wolves maybe could argue but we win on short timescale surely. Maybe Huddersfield as well but they didn’t beat Atletico

As a kid, there was something about northampton

Maybe they did 4 to 1 and back again?

They made div 1. I thought it was Carlisle. In fact maybe throw Swansea in the mix

Swansea and Cardiff spring to mind too, and Bristol City although their Div 1 days were pre-Prem so don't count.  But a lot later than Huddersfield and Northampton.  Hull have been in all 4 divisions at least twice each in the last 20 or so years.

Burnley and Swansea took "Div 4" to a different level by needing to win last game of season just to avoid relegation to non league.  I'm grateful we've never had to experience that, I know we've got away lightly with our Div 4 seasons, both were promotion seasons so in some ways its hard to count them as being the lowest of the low, we've seen a lot worse in Div 3.

If we're talking about the game Taylor scored the winner and Jussi was MOM, we took about 2k but didn't sell out.

Eddie Howe saved Bournemouth from the same fate

Then took them to the PL

Fair play

We definitely did

Clearly I can't prove it either way, although I was there and it didn't feel full.  But around that time we hardly ever sold out.  At the likes of Boro and Sunderland the same season, very poor followings.  The free coaches to Hull and Stoke helped, but we definitely didn't sell out at Stoke either even though it was our first ever game at Britannia.

There's Wandersways thread for Hull in August 2012 for a Saturday 3pm match and we'd sold 700 tickets the day before the game.  Different times.

Aye it was a nobheads day out wasnt it.

That spoons in the centre was rammed full of every not-right weve ever produced.

I stayed over and got in a whole world of chaos in a club called The Purple Door.

Certainly not been dull

you see some clubs who’ve festered in the same division year on year

Is it Rochdale who were in league 2 for like 70 years :D

You'd have to lob Brighton in to that conversation too.
