Today was shit. We struggled well before we went down to 10. If we concede them first 2 goals without santos then everyone would be saying we don’t concede them with santos there, yet here we are conc

Fuck me, we have some seriously sore-losers in our fan base. Wonder if Derby fans are saying they need to change their entire philosophy because they lost an away game?

Carry on clapping- again you wasn’t there to witness the pain.

referee was the worst since Barry Knight. He give them free kicks for many clean challenges and watching the Santos sending off over again he clearly wins the ball whilst the satsuma comes in on his blind side. But saying that our defence was all over the place and Cogley had a shocker.

At the moment on my way back to Worcestershire I can’t see me wanting to drive up Tuesday or next Saturday. Might feel a bit better by Monday.

Madness.

If you felt that was good then fair play. I didn’t but like to think I’ve been fairly balanced in my assessment

It’s the games against the top 6 that will be our undoing

As things stand we've only lost one so far

If that's the same in a few weeks great

It's the random shit like we get today that's more concerning

I fancy us more at Barnsley and Derby then I do Wigan

Looked a woofter but to describe it Barry knight is crazy. We lost due to a poor performance

Haha agree on first bit. Less so on second. It feels like we are about to give up the autos with our games coming up

We did have a poor performance but the referee influenced the game - their first goal was a joke as it was never a foul and the ref just let them take it quick and it’s 1-1.

Anyway I am knackered but after take the misses out; I must be mad

I think after Barnsley/Derby it will look different

The ref was abysmal the dynamics changed when he wrongly gave a free kick for their first goal.. I do wonder if IE reputation is going before him.. in fact I’m sure it is.

We seem to have been saying that for several weeks

Not long ago we go 5 above Pompey with games in hand

Now 1 behind

They've been on a decent run

But got a tough run in

Mind you we still play the other of the top 7

Mostly away

I often wonder this

And our disciplinary record this season isn’t good

I get the feeling we could do with a fresh approach

A change of formation or something, width high up the pitch

It feels a bit stale

Nah, see second half v Cambridge

We just need to play like that

I do think santos has been hard done by as I think he goes in before the forward appears

Evatt lives and dies by the team he puts out each week. This close season he said Firepower cost us last season and he would change that, what did he do re-sign the same forwards.

His four biggest signings are Collins700k Ade boyejo 500k Nludlulu 500k and Charles 400k. None started today[yes i get 2 are out injured]

We simply are too predictable. Only the fact this is a poor league is the reason we are doing well.

We  are not going to change the system because he believes in it so i for me i will continually back him and the team.

For me i will back him until May and if we dont get promoted the board should look again.

Maybe, but sometimes things just need freshening up

We've twice successfully changed formation to get us out of a rut

Bit of a mix Cambridge we came out well but they offered very little

today Blackpool scored 4 and had 2/3 good opportunities much better opposition and that will be the stamp now as we play better teams

it doesn’t help that he doesn’t know his best forward line we had over 1.2m on the bench in strikers

One of your better post… we need to stick together and back the players and manager. It’s war footing from here on in. Starting with the scum on Tuesday.

We've got better at winning those minging away games we used to lose 1-0, which is why we're third and not sixth.....we've not improved playing against top 8 teams, which is why we're third and not first, imo.

Spot on

The numbers back it up

To an extent, however in order to be up there, those around us must be losing games to teams that we beat.

The numbers also back that up.

There is still a weakness- it seems when Sheehan is off it, the team also struggle. Sometimes we cope, others we don't.

Evatt often says the players have to find solutions on the pitch, which they often do, but those questions do still remain.

+1. That free kick he gave them came just minutes after CMG had been  physically assaulted outside their box and he waved play on.

Sheeran gets clattered from behind Ref says "What are you moaning about, I played advantage?" - how about a yellow card ya feckin clown?
