Gone from the league

And as yet, still gone

So, teams, unlike Lincoln, who have been relegated and not returned

I think its going to be miles more than Id expect

Include any that went bust while in, Bury, and out, like Scarborough

I was just about to post Oldham, as that’s a big recent(ish) fall from grace: Premiership to non-league.

Used to strike me how many who dropped were by the sea

One time Ferrari owner Nicky Hunt is now a coach at Macclesfield.

Sic gloria transiit mundi.

Chester City were in the League for nearly 70 years and had some cracking players including the young Ian Rush but were relegated out of the fourth tier in 2000 (on goal difference FFS) then made a comeback under various well known managers including Mark Wright and Rush but were finally liquidated 10 years later. The phoenix club formed by the fans Chester FC still plays at the Deva stadium (since renamed)
