December 31, 20241 yr Really bad blow this. Demps is one of the few we have who get stuck in and we’ve missed him but it doesn’t look good for him for this season at least. Looks like he’ll be deregistered now and at least give IE another place to go at in bringing someone new in.

There’s no question he’s a positive influence when fit and firing though.

He was getting in good positions every game and was offering something that the other midfielders weren't. He's a decent player. Agree he's injured too much but to say he offers very little is incorrect.
January 3, 20251 yr It's not like we have any one midfielder that chips in with loads of goals though is it? Sheehan has 12. Dempsey is a bit of an all-round midfielder, and is more than capable of making things happen in an opponent's penalty box.

January 3, 20251 yr He's the only player in our squad, with maybe Toal that I've any confidence can score a header. This is includes our 7ft centreback. Although our whole approach is systemic to walking it in to the net, soooooo I guess it doesn't matter 😆

Dempsey has 27 goal contributions in 7,369 minutes: 1 per 273 minutes. Thomason has 25 goal contributions in 10,343 minutes: 1 per 414 minutes. Anyone spot the weak link? It would be interesting to see similar stats for Morley (Bolton only).

Morley for Wycombe jumps to 6 goal contributions in 1,652 minutes: 1 per 275 minutes.
