People often draw the strength to deal with life's problems from their faith, and also find solutions to their problems from religious teaching

Not imaginary if it’s truly believed though ? 
it’s a real belief for some and how they deal with life’s problems , I know people who take what comes, don’t worry about anything and make the most of everything ,as they believe it’s Gods will for example. 
 

Deal with their problems quite well because of their faith to be fair . 
 

and , yes, so do others without any faith too, but in a different way, not saying it’s better or worse but certainly can’t be described as a cop out IMO
