Don't doubt your first sentence at all.

Believe me when I tell you though, this girl that was knocking out the skinny jabs is nowhere near being a regulated dispenser. That's the point I was making. 👍

How did we get onto this on a thread about the new kit anyway!

Love a good old WW rabbit hole 😂

Assuming your over 18 years old......it'll look good with nothing on your sir 😉

And I thunk Sharon has been sourcing the badges from unregulated suppliers

Just read that back, that first sentence doesn't read at all well 😂

Oh yeah. I am totally with you. It baffles me how it’s been unregulated. Same with Botox etc.

saying that my diabetic nurse is confused as why I don’t want to double my dose. I am struggling eating as it is and when training for marathons it’s hard if you don’t fuel. Proper weird they are happy to just go to a bigger dose

The exact same twats buying "skinny jabs" from a girl in there that does lip fillers and all that type of stuff. Happily stabbing that into themselves. The mind boggles. Made me laugh and despair at them in equal measure 🤣

And all doing 3 for 100 at weekends...

Yes it does. When abused.

I am on it under doctors instruction for diabetes. The pancreatic stuff is similar to the gastric band issues where people don’t eat the right foods etc so end up with nutrient deficiency which causing calcification in the pancreas.

I know a lot of folk who are using it just to get skinny mind which so bad. Especially when you end up having snacks rather than meals with real nutrients.

bone issues can be avoided by ensuring you have sufficient calcium but again when folk abuse it this does not happen

I started to notice parents on the school run who used to be fat are now looking trim

Including a husband and wife and that's when I twigged this was no coincidence

They look better for it but fuck that

I've heard it makes you not want to eat and makes you feel nauseous and fucks your pancreas up

Not for me

I'd rather eat better and exercise more and get a natural endorphin buzz

I know that's easier said done like

I would not have chosen this just to be slim. You feel rank a lot of the time

Aye and you do marathons for fun

I'm pretty sure most of the people who take it have no interest in exercise

Which is why they take it

I just don't see why it's considered an easy option if you feel like shit

I suppose fat cunts see it as an easier option

Yeah it’s very strange and the lack of healthy diet means you end up fucked. I will probably have problems long term but I drink too much.

I am hoping it’s not forever but who knows. For me I am currently doing a stricter diet and the jab means you don’t want to eat extra.

some days it’s mad though. I did 10 miles the other Friday which was 1800 cals exercise ish. Then you have existing calories. And I only consumed 1800 all day. So in theory my deficit was 2000 ish. Which is not sustainable

Person "Lost 6 stone by injecting myself with something that makes me feel too ill to eat"..

Society "Well done"..

...

on the plus size, I've picked up some cheap clothing on ebay recently that no longer fits people,

I had one person justify it by saying it costs 140 a month and they're saving that on food.. We spend 280-300 a month on weekly food shops for a family of four, it's no wonder they're struggling with weight

So how long do you take it for?

How long does a jab last?

Do you just keep jabbing till you hit your target weight?

What happens when you stop

Are folk going to go round in cycles of taking it, losing weight, stopping, pilling it back on, starting again?

Surely you don't take it permanently?

My brother lost 4 stone in a year by consuming  a shit load of strawberries and water in the mornings. Made him full as a bastard and his farts were like weapons of mass destruction. So not only did he look better, he also pissed off his work colleagues. Win win.

I'd guess they'd have to do one of the two because they won't have developed healthy eating habits or an exercise regime to keep the weight off without them

It really is fucking daft

So how long do you take it for? It depends on your prescriber. The guidelines state you can have it for up to 2 years or until your bmi drops below 23.5

How long does a jab last? The recommendation is that you have a jab weekly but some people are ignoring this and doing their own experimentation (if you like) by splitting doses or having different intermediate doses. It takes around 4 weeks to get a decent background level of the drug and initially some of the effects start to wear off after about 5 days

Do you just keep jabbing till you hit your target weight? Generally yes but then you might titrate down the doses

What happens when you stop

Are folk going to go round in cycles of taking it, losing weight, stopping, pilling it back on, starting again? I can't answer that.

I certainly don't intend to!

Surely you don't take it permanently?

There are some people who may be allowed to take it for life but this would be based on a medical need rather than for simple weight control

I'm happy to admit that I'm currently taking it for weight loss purposes and that is because I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic with stage 2 hypertension and a non-alcoholic fatty liver!

I'm doing it as part of a supported weight loss programme which costs a small fortune to be honest.

Having seen some of the comments above I would add they aren't giving it out legitimately to any Tom, Dick or Harry and you have to answer a substantial medical questionnaire plus provide both photographic and video evidence that you have a bmi over 30 i.e. Obese.

I don't doubt that Mercedes and Chardonnay are getting off Mike from the pub who buys it from Asia though! Anything to look good for the gram while sunning it up at Ocean Beach!

Good luck to you. I just think it's mental that the way it works (suppressing appetite by making you feel full and slowing gastric emptying) can also be sustainably achieved by drinking tap water and eating £2.50 worth of fresh fruit and veg every day.

But then again, it's down to self motivation to stick to diets. So easy to eat other stuff when its so easily a available. Maybe the popularity of weight loss drugs is down to how little motivation you need to take them.

So, going off the last 20 or so comments on 'new kit launch'  this new away kit will be available in sizes s and m only and will look well smart with jeans and denim shorts with turn ups.

Rumours I've heard is the training kit is lilac.

If you have all those issues does the doctor not do it for you? Being monitored is key imo.

my issue with the liver is partly fatty liver but I recently had an honest conversation about my drinking. This chat has helped better understand what we need to do (they tried to get me on some weird pills but not necessary now)

I despite what folk believe eat a healthy diet and always have had loads of veg etc. my issue is booze, crisps and sweets when pissed.

one quirks of diabetes is I was eating too much fruit (I have always eaten loads of fruit as I like the taste) and that was causing issues with sugar levels.

@Zico I believe it is a thing you are on for life if it works well for you diabetes treatment. For example in America they prescribe the pen I use instead of tablets etc.

one thing that does have to be monitored is as you get slimmer (natural part of a deficit) your requirement to lower sugar reduces as the body can cope better so you have to adjust everything. There needs to be more work into supplements needed to avoid problems. Sometimes tho problems from some medication may be better than problems of high sugar etc
