Having to actually play on international weekends is a right spanner in my plans for the season 😂

I don't mind so much but hope we have enough call ups next time to get that Huddersfield game back on the Saturday rather than Thursday night

Is that how it’s going to work? If we aren’t impacted then it will be the Thursday night, if we are impacted by the international break then it will just go back to the Saturday (18th)?

yep

international weekend is the weekend before, v Burton - so that's the game that would be called off due to call ups

then that would influence if we are able to play on the Thursday - if we have players away on duty, we can't, so it goes back to the Saturday

hopefully Huddersfield have enough call ups, if we don't

I don't care if its on or off but the not knowing is ridiculous.  They should just make a judgement about 3 weeks before and go with it, the two clubs could have a chat on Monday and come to an agreement.

Its literally just L1 fixtures that have this issue because every other division is either definitely on or definitely off.

Pretty hard to decide till they know the call ups I’d assume.

Good news overall, no home games moved for TV, no Thursday or Friday night games.  And Blackpool not on TV will maximise the crowd for that one.

We'll still fill the away end for those two aways (sympathy for anyone having to travel to Wimbledon for the early KO).

Overall it could have been worse, no date changes, I think Burton and Stevenage are on more times than us.

Wigan and AFC Wimbledon in January are now both 12.30 kick-offs for TV

when I'm down under I want every game to be 12.30 KO

Do not give a fuck about Wigan, but Wimbledon would have been a decent away trip.

Stevenage moved, Peterborough could be moved for FA Cup third round. They are both on the East Coast route from Leeds.

There should be a rule that they can not move games where I fancy an away day.

Wimbledon change doesn’t really do much tbf, we normally get to Euston for 10:14 anyway for London away games but will just have to have a few more trains and probably drink centrally given how few places open before 12 down there

Piccadilly shutting for 9 days in February, covering Lincoln & Reading away and Blackpool at home.

Im sure that will all go smoothly and without a hitch.

Cheers! But Lime Street train goes via Piccadilly 😃 Apparently trains stopping at Stockport and rail replacement onwards, pure effort that.

I'm more likely to just sack it off and use the saved cash on doing the Tuesday night in Reading, what a time to be alive.

We get train just after 9 for London games, few beers on train, down for about half 11. Get nearish whichever ground and a few more beers. It just works well for us.

Get back up here about 10.

Lad I go with has 1 teenage lad and 1 just left Uni so he is paying for 3 train tickets, hard to justify £200 on train tickets when it is on the telly box.

Wife currently negotiating time off work during a blacked-out week so that we can use our two Club Avanti first class freebies for Reading away 🤓
