gonzo Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Blackpools match that weekend was called off last week if that's anything to go by. Quote
tomski Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Wimbledon started selling coach tickets after 5pm yesterday which makes me think this will be on. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Having to actually play on international weekends is a right spanner in my plans for the season 😂 Quote

If we aren’t impacted then it will be the Thursday night, if we are impacted by the international break then it will just go back to the Saturday (18th)? Quote
Zico Posted August 29, 2025 Author Posted August 29, 2025 Just now, Eddie said: Is that how it’s going to work? If we aren’t impacted then it will be the Thursday night, if we are impacted by the international break then it will just go back to the Saturday (18th)? yep international weekend is the weekend before, v Burton - so that's the game that would be called off due to call ups then that would influence if we are able to play on the Thursday - if we have players away on duty, we can't, so it goes back to the Saturday hopefully Huddersfield have enough call ups, if we don't Quote
Casino Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 Apparently, concacaf didnt have games on the last weekend Im not having it st lucia and barbados have better options than our 2 Is forss gonna get back in the picture, too? Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 Burton had 3 call ups of their own last time around Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 I don't care if its on or off but the not knowing is ridiculous. They should just make a judgement about 3 weeks before and go with it, the two clubs could have a chat on Monday and come to an agreement. Its literally just L1 fixtures that have this issue because every other division is either definitely on or definitely off. Quote

dave2980 Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Wigan and AFC Wimbledon in January are now both 12.30 kick-offs for TV Quote

Johnnyrotten Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Good news overall, no home games moved for TV, no Thursday or Friday night games. And Blackpool not on TV will maximise the crowd for that one. We'll still fill the away end for those two aways (sympathy for anyone having to travel to Wimbledon for the early KO). Overall it could have been worse, no date changes, I think Burton and Stevenage are on more times than us. Quote

Stevenage moved, Peterborough could be moved for FA Cup third round. They are both on the East Coast route from Leeds. There should be a rule that they can not move games where I fancy an away day. frank_spencer Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Wigan was always going to be an early kickoff, just on sky at the same time now. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Wimbledon change doesn’t really do much tbf, we normally get to Euston for 10:14 anyway for London away games but will just have to have a few more trains and probably drink centrally given how few places open before 12 down there Quote
Marc505 Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Piccadilly shutting for 9 days in February, covering Lincoln & Reading away and Blackpool at home. Im sure that will all go smoothly and without a hitch. Quote

But Lime Street train goes via Piccadilly 😃 Apparently trains stopping at Stockport and rail replacement onwards, pure effort that. I'm more likely to just sack it off and use the saved cash on doing the Tuesday night in Reading, what a time to be alive. Quote

Get nearish whichever ground and a few more beers. It just works well for us. Get back up here about 10. Lad I go with has 1 teenage lad and 1 just left Uni so he is paying for 3 train tickets, hard to justify £200 on train tickets when it is on the telly box. Quote

Wife currently negotiating time off work during a blacked-out week so that we can use our two Club Avanti first class freebies for Reading away 🤓 Quote
