Random You Tube Addictions

Does anyone find themselves watching lots of randomly themed videos ?

Currently watching Coops who trades Pokémon cards at shows and a bloke called Adagmator who comments on chess, that I can hardly play.

Christopher and his 50ps is another one

I have so much time on my hands it seems

Wingsuit base jumps. Mountain bikers tear arsing down hills. People twatting bike thieves.

Drummers doing covers of Tool tracks.

Aye the chess guy (a game I'm shit at and don't have much interest in usually, to say the least) was interesting when he did videos of Alpha Zero battering the world's 2nd best chess computer a while back. It was interesting how he got across that both were playing at a level no human could ever match.

If you watch youtube a lot, it's worth it just to get rid of the ads. I signed up years ago, and they sent me a free Google Home device when they were just starting to compete with Amazon Alexa. Probably hoped I'd buy more of them to control lights and all that shit, but I never have. Just stuck it in my office to use as an alarm clock and play background music.

Yeah me too. It's a tenner a month but absolutely worth every penny. You can also close your phone and the video will continue to play which is another feature I like.

I'm always a bit miffed when content creators have a sponsorship mind and spend 3 minutes waffling on about Raid Shadow Legends or something similar. But you can't have everything eh! 😁

I only tend to watch stuff on my PC (although I use the youtube app to play music in the car), and I have a Google Chrome extension called 'Enhancer for Youtube' which lets you change a load of settings, so videos will always open in full screen, and other tabs will automatically stop playing when you start another one, that sort of stuff. I've even got a Google Pixel phone, and everything I do online is linked to my gmail acount. I'm googled up to the fucking eyeballs, and I have no complaints whatsoever. It's all very seemless and user friendly. I don't have a clue when one of my kids has an issue with their iphone.

Can't get enough of Indian type blokes tape and jointing plasterboards at the minute. That's on shorts like along with Dog videos, US cops being cunts and bizarrely motorbike crashes.

Longer ones include world war 2 stuff and Charlie Vietch :D

I went for a Samsung last time round - but the Google Pixel is still the best phone I've ever had. You're right it just works seemlessly with everything.

Veitch is an absolute bellend, but his videos are very watchable. Got a feeling karma will catch up with him at some point.
