My wife can't drink out of any of them glasses with a fancy gold rim around the top, some stella ones have it.

Dunno if they still do (coz not keen on Chinese food) but years ago you used to get a plakky spoon type scoop with soup in some Chinese restaurants, made me gag and you could actually feel other people's teeth marks in them.

Have you tried the nitro surge?
if it’s done right it’s very good.

always drink out of a glass and won’t drink out of plastic glasses no matter what , so never have a pint at the match or anywhere else where people can’t be trusted not to drop, chick or smash into someone.
partly taste as I think it tastes crap but also down to a healthy dose of stubbornness and being contrary .

I do not mind the solid plastic ones you get at proper sporting events like cricket and tennis 😂

They charge a couple of quid for them and say they are collectible. Those glass snakes you get at cricket must be worth a fortune these days.

The bendy plastic where you can only carry 1 at a time are shit.

Noticed the ones at the Reebok are quite sturdy now.

Even if they do leak out from the bottom.

You can use that with the normal draught Guinness. Puncture the can with a pin first and let all the gas escape slowly.

Then run it though the nitrosurge.

Supposed to work with Brewdog's Blackheart too.

I ain't got one yet but have spent hours watching lads on Youtube do it. Aye, that's my life now.

Tried it, it works but nearly took my eye out doing the 4th one when the pin slipped through my fingers with the pressure after pushing in a bit fast.
dangerous after a few that, seriously !

Lager/Cider gets drunk from the can/bottle cos I'm uncouth and can't be arsed with more washing up. Ales get drank from a Camden Brewery pint pot. Spirits and mixers usually from one of my Dead Mans Fingers skull glasses.

Pubs should replace their glasses every three years. If you are drinking out of a beer glass at home every night and then putting into a dishwasher it will have an impact on the beer you pour into it if it is old.

I have a mate who won’t drink bottled beer in pubs as thinks rats piss on the bottles whilst in the pubs cellar.

I’ll drink from a bottle but never a can.  Buy almost exclusively cans but just pour it into a glass.

Same here.

Always pour into a glass, and I'm very fussy about which glass, got hundreds but there's only about 4-5 I'd ever use, I'm the same with cups and cutlery.

Me too.

I have always been very suspicious of men who drink bottled beer in pubs. Fair enough if its some obscure beer, but not if its available in Tesco for a quid.

Mrs Fogarty was at a soiree yesterday so I called in the Northern Monkey for an hour. First time in months I've been in there.

In at 4:30 catch bus home 6ish. What could be simpler ? Gone 9 when I got home.

Really enjoyed it too.

I know. I used to call in there for a few most days after work on my way home from Thicketford.

When COVID struck and they had to close I still wanted to support a small local business so I kept buying gift cards for myself . When they reopened I had about £300 or so in credit. Then they altered the opening hours and it cocked me up a bit so I went to Little John.
