There's smash-and-grab results every week, and fans of every team in the top half of the table probably think they're shit every other week. It's got to be one of the most difficult Leagues to escape, unless you've got a massive war chest to splurge on players who should be playing higher up - which we clearly haven't. I asked a question rather than making a statement and as far a those four are concerned I totally agree with you, however something isn’t working ATM and I’m just hoping for answers. So if it’s not the attitude of those players, and let’s say it’s not the attitude of the players Schumacher brought in/brought through, what does that leave us with? The system? The quality?

League One Football. We're exactly halfway through the season and we're 6th. We're hardly imploding. People are making a crisis out of nothing.

Morley's a slightly different case, it seems SS has had to have the same 'this is what's required' conversation that Evatt had with him when he was previously out of the team. Think I said earlier, rather than any sort of 'big I am' attitude, it feels like more the opposite, a few struggling to handle the ups and downs of a 46 game season in L1 and us lacking one or two experienced mentors to help them through a 'difficult moment', as they say.

Nothing wrong with the attitude, I'd say its a positive. Tactics can improve, that's been done to death and I don't need to repeat them especially at this time of night. Quality - that's an easy one. We don't have any decent strikers, leaders of the line, goalscorers, no.10's. As bad as I've seen in my lifetime (I'm not including McAtee but if he plays its just because the others are out of favour, he's not part of SS's plans).

It might be just me that feels this but it seems when teams run at our defence they seem to do so with a greater desire to make things happen, running with purpose and committing defenders, whereas I mostly feel we get into threatening areas and the first instinct is to stop, cut inside, look for the safe sideways or backwards pass. We have 3 wingers who have the ability to terrorise full backs by getting to the by line but we rarely see it and only Dempsey ( and if we are chasing a late goal , Sheehan) who will make positive runs through the middle.
