Neither Vic, McAtee or Taylor, but they're at various stages of recovering from knocks. Strong team though, bit nervous about Conway and Tutu as both very attacking full backs. That is all managers have done against us for the last five seasons one trick pony lge one managers wait until we commit players too far up the field then knock it long into the corners get a throwing/corner then load the box. Thought SS would change that by playing a flat back 4.........Conway picks himself and Christie cannot play every game so it is what it is. The Three you mention first have had chance after chance and not taken it.
December 20, 2025Dec 20 Would prefer to see Desmond in a more attacking position, but the team seems decent enough. SS said he wanted the crossing better, and maybe that is the hope, especially with Dalby up top.
December 20, 2025Dec 20 Author Sheehan and Simons is a good choice providing we earn the right to play against a team who expect to control things themselves. This won’t be a game we’ll get away with too many misplaced passes so we have to be on it from the off and assert ourselves.

Schumacher had no chance last season I've no reason to question this, you could well be right, I'm just not seeing the connection re those that were leaving. Matete knew he was and he was our best midfielder in a few games. Forrester was one of the "injured" but I'm certain his commitment couldn't be questioned. Agreed Jones was poor, but professionalism never in question. Finding it hard to think who was going and downed tools, except Santos and arguably Baxter judging by his performance at Lincoln compared to his usual standards.

There's definitely a reason why we sold Collins at a loss

I am going off those that played at the back end of the season when we played the kids I said Jones because he played but was not very good........But i would never question his commitment Others not so sure....We had some Genuine injuries but a few were already on the beach
December 20, 2025Dec 20 With 4 games in about 11 days it makes sense to rotate the squad.... The Wycombe Wanderers 1 The Bolton Wanderers 2 (Dalby & Gale) COYFWM!!!!
December 20, 2025Dec 20 Author Looking at the relative height of the two teams I can imagine them loading our box at some point. Here we go then….

December 20, 2025Dec 20 All pressure then because Johnston booting the ball out when it was a easy back pass to keeper nearly cost us
