Think over here it's liquor stores only, and they're all big chain stores on retail parks, and there's nothing like an independent corner shop offy anywhere

In the US you could get booze in supermarket but only under 6 or 7 percent

We were staying in St Kilda and there was a bottle ship right next door to the supermarket, which wasn’t too much of a pain in the arse

Yeah usually the bottle shops are next door or very close anyway.

Some Aldis sell booze depends on the state, think most in NSW do and I'm 20 mins from the border (not permitted in QLD) . They do in WA too.

aye, they even have this set up on retail parks where you go to a can recycling point, scan your app, then get 10c for every can you put in

On GC recycling rate is pathetic, half of landfill should be recycled.

Been here exactly 4 weeks

Jumped on the ferry from Perth to South Perth on the way to the Royal Windsor Hotel (solidarity with the Royal Family).

Transperth ferry followed by a pod of dolphins frolicking in the wake. They come that far up river for the freshwater prawns. Loads of the latter but pretty tasteless.
