Congratulations on promotion. Most Wrexham fans were hoping you stuff those Stockport scruffs, and you did. 👏 As a rough guide we spent around £30-35 million last summer and just missed out on th

I'd snatch your hand off for fourth from bottom right now.  Next season is about staying up unless we get some major investment from somewhere over the summer.

Absolutely no gimmes there. Hope our fans remain realistic first season back.  Would take bottom half and staying up first season.  Whilst winning the FA Cup

Burnley getting £35mil compensation from Everton, because EFC breached financial PSR rules in the 3 year period that ended with Burnley getting relegated in 2022.

Just in case their parachute payment isn't enough to fund their squad, that should keep the wolf from the door for a season.

Until they get promoted again

Just been listening iles podcast asking Which Bolton Wanderers players are nailed on to play in the Championship next season? Not many are there.

Toal will likely be fit- article in the BN the other day.

New lad I would imagine will be in.

Sheehan, Forino, Davies, Erhahon, Watson, Rodrigues, Dalby

No mention of Temple as a replacement there.

is that meant to be our strongest team?

surely Watson starts, alongside Sheehan, I'd have thought

I suppose that depends on who else we sign and how they do in pre season. As it stands I’d say nobody is a nailed on starter at the moment other than perhaps Dalby and Forino.

I suppose so they are the only players we have for now. For me only Sheehan is a regular starter.

aye but all things being equal I expect any new signings to be looking at being a starter

I get that he’s got time to fill, but it’s a pointless debate.

We’ll likely bring 8-10 more in and probably lose 2-3 that we currently have. All it does is point out what we all know, we’ve cleared the decks and are at the start of a transfer window having moved up a league.

There will be 4 possibly 5 of that xi that will be starters in August

To be fair a lot of players surprise you and adapt. Playing with and against better players brings out the best in you so I’d expect more of the players to surprise on the upside. Out of that I’d expect Forino, Conway, Sheehan, Erhahon, Rodrigues and Dalby to be potential starters and I know this is going to be controversial but I’d also include Jack Bonham who I think has been somewhat unfairly criticised.

for a keeper a lot depends on what you have in front of you and frankly with Tutu, Toal, Johnston and Conway mostly there he probably wasn’t defended as well as he could have been from aerial balls. With a bigger, stronger defence in front of him I think he’ll be a good fit. I agree there’s going to be another 6-8 to come in, possibly more as others move on but I still believe that a nucleus of the current squad can adapt to the higher level.

Squad, but many of them will be starters, I suspect.
