Ayew is in double figures for sly fouls

Don't know how many he needs to commit before the ref books him.

We got away with one there with Pickford

Get Rashford on

Tuchel shits the bed with teams who defend deep

With VAR we've had a sent off keeper and conceded a penalty. Feels like watching Bolton but the ref likes us for some reason.

Half of their team could easily have been booked for constant fouling.

Senior players have to look at themselves though.

More leadership, getting into their teammates to up the tempo and even make some on-pitch suggestions and show some initiative.

I do think we stick with inverted wingers too much, and maybe the manager should have changed it before, but the players themselves ought to be able to go both ways.

Can someone have a meltdown and call all our players shit please, preferably with plenty of spelling mistakes? Doesn't feel like a proper game.

That was rank

Boring stuff. But that's almost certainly us through

Switching Madueke to the left for 10 mins was just wasting not having Rashford on for longer, pathetic performance, hopefully that's the only sitter Kane misses going forward

Unless we royally mess up or Ghana outscore us by 2 we should still get first espeically vs Panama, but that was woeful and a bit scary at times when they got in behind, despite them being quite negative for most of it, a mood killer for sure.

Bit naff to say the least.

Bit surprised by Ghana as they've clearly got some decent players and didn't show a great desire to win and try to get through, but it was a poor attempt to break down the stubborn defending.

Frustrating. Harry Kane scores nobody gives a fuck and it's just another dour 2nd group games consigned to annals of history.

I get why they did it 'cos they are through with 4 points, and there was 2 moments when they got in behind when Pickford came out of his area and clattered into a Ghana player and when Eze lost it.

I highly doubt we will see Spence and Gordon again, it didn't work one bit and Madueke was very poor today, Saka and Rashford vs Panama and get some more confidence going into round of 32 which may be Uzbekistan/DR Congo

Eze looked a bit lost when he came on too, but it was probably a bit late by then. Pattern was set.

Stonewall penalty, how it was not reviewed I will never know. Got away with that

Kinda decisions that I feel will karma itself out one way or another

Yep. Them playing for a draw.

Won't stop the hysterical fadges all over the gaff though.

Not a betting man but nice 20 quid from a fiver at half time for a nil nil

Four points sees them through, which I'd presume is job done for them at this tournament given they had at least three League One players on today.

As for us, dour 0-0's in the group stage have led to great tournaments and shit ones so who knows. The only thing I do know is that Noni Madueke isn't up to it. The sooner Saka is properly fit the better.

Agree that Madueke had a poor match. But I still think he was better than Gordon
