Not a betting man but nice 20 quid from a fiver at half time for a nil nil

You clearly are a betting man, as you placed a bet.

Wonder how excited the Barcelona fans are that Anthony Gordon is going there. Should give hin the number10 due to similarity with Messi.

He’s got two wide men who are only any good in open space. Will they see any for what’s left of our tournament? I doubt it .

Aye.

Despite my claim of a good World Cup so far, In these 2nd and 3rd group games, we are going to see some tactical bore fests because of this format.

We were a victim of that tonight.

They came to completely shut up shop and get a point to get themselves into the last 32

We went relatively risk averse because a draw makes us favourites to win the group whereas losing would have created a bit of a problem.

They had the chance to sign Rashford for peanuts, but signed Gordon instead......it may work out for the best, but at present, Rashford is a far superior player

Felt a bit for Gordon tbf. He had absolutely no support from Spence at at all. Nobody was on the overlap ever for him. There's not many players can pulled summet out the bag up against 3 lads with zero options.

Cole Palmer or Phil Foden maybe )

If we're clamouring for Rashford to start we're screwed. He's flattered to deceive for years

Spot on. Even though we totally dominated and deserved more (Harry should have taken his one good chance), not a bad result even if it was a bad watch.

Piss the group with 7 points. First goal achieved.

the amount of dross performances under TT far outweighs the good ones, so no huge shock to me

some of the subs last night was shocking, big part on him last night

rolleyes2 Going off too early again.

I'd have TT any day of the week over the waistcoated woke wanker.

By the way, yours is not a new phenomenon. I can remember similar (but more well mannered) criticism after a certain 0-0 draw with Uruguay. That comp ended well.

@L/H White will have you if we don't reach the semi like we did last time.....😀

Lord mate. Lord (of the squeaking Samba).

Woeful? Stupid?

Do you have access to ganja?

When you say 'have'.............................?

My money is on the two south American giants plus Spain and Germany.

Might give you a clue as to where I think we might end up.

If we went out at the group stage I would still prefer TT to conky.

Another barmpot appointment. Last night was crying out for a Foden, Palmer type of player who will unlock defences instead he sets up with a back four and two defensive midfielders against a team who played two banks of five.

Spence has pace but is never a footballer and i am still trying to work out how the most left footed footballer i have ever seen is playing right wing.

Be home before the post

I kind of get that Madueke is going to cut in onto his stronger foot when he’s playing on the right. But surely you move him to the left so he can go on the outside? Even on the left wing he cut inside every time. But now onto his weaker foot

That baffled me too. I was shouting at the telly to get down the fucking outside time and time again. Switched him over and he still didn't. Mind blowing.

Like has been said above and I said it during the Croatia game, Rice and Anderson is too much. It's too cluttered in there, especially against wankers like them last night.

Well yes literally, but as in I havent got the foggiest what Im doing.

A betting man I would suggest, is a bit more than someone sticking a few coins on an England international, in the same way.pubs get rammed on NYE with people who never normally go in.

Happened a few times now. It's not a good look when we play teams who defend deep he cant figure out he needs to make the pitch bigger and constant cutting inside makes it more congested. Another modern clever cunt manager.

Have a day off pal.

We'll top the group. Job done. Ghana gave us a wake up call which will help us in the next round. Spain couldn't beat Cape Verde ffs!

ICH!

It wasn't the result per se, but the lack of ideas or willingness to try something a bit different.

Not necessarily the manager, but those on the pitch.

I remember the manager clapping and clearly praising Madueke the first time he went on the outside, beat a man, and put a dangerous cross in.

Not sure he did it again that half.

Maybe Rice- Arensal team mate- could have had a word and said well done, don't be worried about mixing it up and going on the outside. Or similar!
