Trainingsground visit..

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm travelling over to Manchester for a course with my work and I know will be given Monday the 6th of March off and I'd love to see Reebok Stadium, spend hell plenty of cash in the superstore and mostly meet the players and get a few signings, the players weren't to helpfull on this after the Watford match...

So, if anyone can help me out on how to get to Euxton by bus ?, please help out..

Cheers

Not sure about the buses, Chorley is a trek from Manchester.

Train from Manc Deansgate to Chorley, Euxton is in Chorley so it can't be far from there (I've never actually been to the training ground, footballers are w*nkers).

Sure one of the helpful WW regulars will know more.

Oh, and well done with the cartoons by the way - feel welcome to storm a mosque when you visit :D

PB

Get the train to Chorley. A taxi from there will be about ??5.

Don't think a bus goes past the BWFC entrance but the 109 service does go to Euxton Lane. The bus station is next to the train station.

The address of the training ground is:-

Euxton Lane

I would arrange the visit in advance.

Don't mention the cartoons mate, things are really getting out of hand, I would tell you what I really like to do with a mosque...then again better not..

well advisable, else you wont get in

The telephone number for the training ground is 01257 226 226 phone them before you visit to check that they are training that day, and they are at Euxton.

He might give them the day off if we get a decent result in newcastle

Spoken with the Club and there's no way I'll be able to get inside...

Hardly surprising really.

You're only travelling thousands of miles to come and see them! ](*,)

Contact the Bolton Evening News, they might be able to swing it.

You used to be able to drive straight onto the car park no questions asked.

Now they have a very large sliding metal gate to keep out the riff-raff.

There's something wrong when they won't let you in even when asking beforehand :-k

Perhaps there's trade secrets. Or they simply can't be bothered showing someone around who is over from Denmark :-k

That's what I was getting at.

They don't know he's here for work reasons: he could be a fan from Denmark wanting to get autographs before going home.

If anyone's got a contact within the club, can they get a message to Henrik Pedersen, he'd welcome a visit from a fellow Dane. No matter how much people slag Pedders off as a player, he is a bloody good bloke.

Thanks for the support lads, we'll see if I bother go there now..

danish, you have a pm

Someone should sort this out for the lad. One thing I hate about these prima-donnas is how high and mighty they think they are.

Maybe its not true - let's ensure BWFC players prove this wrong.

Sure somebody can have words at the club - Danish should be collected from the airport!

Aye, that's just footballist is that.

somebody have a word with Jimmy Phillips...after all if he can get a Bolton fan an appearance for the first team in the FA Cup I`m sure he could get a Bolton fan making a special journey from Denmark (thats all he needs to know)the chance just to see the team train for an hour or 3.

what a load of b??llocks.

if this fella is coming over from denmark and wants to spend some time at the club in one way or another they should sort him out.

they need to remember who we are and where we have come from.

C??NTSHOVELLERS

Danish, write to Big Sam himself, I did a while ago and got a good reply from him inviting me and my daughter to the training ground, which given my current 'circumstances' was a suprise. JJ on the other hand can go and f??ck himself.

don't give up, you are probably getting a reply from some st??ck up lostock sl??t in the office who thinks she's the top dog coz she's shagged half the reserve team.

Definitely try getting in touch with the Bolton Evening News, it would be a nice story for them to run, and they'll probably be able to swing it.

you have PM.

Polevault the fence and refuse to leave, in fact chain yourself to the gatepost until everybody has signed your underpants
